I’m curious as to how they checked the charge. Typically with a mini split, I would have to recover the charge, weigh what came out to determine how much charge is in there. There is not usually a port on the liquid line to get a pressure so you could check sub cooling, and I have never seen a charging chart on one even if there was a port. If the suction line (larger) is sweating with all heads in operation, that’s an indication that it’s “good enough”.
He said that he uses temperature measurement to check for cooling and calls that a good charge

happy birthday Happy!!

Had a good breakfast meeting today, got my usual sausage bowl. Has scrambled eggs on bottom, potatoes, sausage gravy, cheese, toast.
Our church hired a new minister, after looking for over a year. Turns out I knew this guys dad from years ago, and we have several mutual friends.

Not as hot today, so came home, hooked up the trailer, and got a bunch more Trex boards from HD, should be about enough to finish deck2. will need a couple more 8 footers, but don't need trailer for them. unloaded them in garage, now time to relax.

I got a guy coming tomorrow to give me a price on a new mitsubishi split Air system, not a mini. Don't really want the new refrigerant though...

There is nothing wrong with R454b (or R32), it’s just in short supply now. Going forward, the tables will turn on R410a. Only old stock is gonna be 410.

Mitsubishi is top quality equipment. Just make sure that he is a dealer, to make sure your warranty is solid. The distributors in this neck of the woods will only sell equipment and support their dealers.

Good (Friday) morning. Overnight Low of -0.2C and it's presently 12.8C [heading to 15C], mostly sunny with a gentle breeze.

I'll do the chain-harrowing today as I 'got lost' in my work-shed yesterday doing one little thing... which led to another little thing, and so on. I know that I bought a couple of clamps a few months ago but I can't find them. I don't need them for anything at the moment. It's just that I can't find them.

That's about it, take care all.

Coffee is brewing. 61° with partly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 82° with rain and thunderstorms. Got grocery shopping done. Then cut grass. PT went good. Already feeling better. Going to a lot of work on my part to correct how I have been walking for 0ver eighty years. Plan was to cut grass in back field today. But weather may change those plans. Will have to look at To-Do list.

Good Morning All.

/ Good morning!!!! #208,793
good Friday morning all, 71 going up to 87
looks like a nice day here, previously forecast wet weather has dried out, thankfully for my two
hour trip to Lancaster this morning.
I meet my friends at the parking lot of the Lancaster Walmart, then we head up to Harrisburg for a
noon boat ride. Not sure what Harrisburg looks like from the water but sounds like fun. I know it's not the tourist
paddlewheeler since my friends said the boat was electric. Hmmmm. Should be quiet?
hope to find a comfortable seat, and make sure I know where pfd is.

then a dinner at nice restaurant in Lancaster tonight, and then back to rv.
Definitely a long day and I have to pace myself.
Once I get past the PA turnpike, I like this drive, out the colonial highway, 202 running into 30 West.
until then, commuter traffic will be bad but I just get in right lane and take my time.

my rear top brake light on rv went out, dealer said had to replace entire fixture. Ok, ordered another one for a hundred bucks.
It came in, went out to compare and another top marker light is out. Hmmm. Probably on same feed, better check voltage before
new lights installed. Means getting up on roof of rv and that is sure not a job for me.
Simple two wire connectors but I know drill holes won't
line up so needs a little surface prep. I did not put the same model back on, thing didn't last six years, and was poorly rated online. So I bought a similar top rated led light.

the rear roof ladder is small and not ergonomic; I simply cannot safely lift myself up and over last step.
probably good to keep me off roofs anyway.

simple fact of life need help of younger folks more often.

up early, had my shower and enjoying my coffee
life is good

/ Good morning!!!! #208,796
Drew, bring your RV over to my place. Will get the new light installed and fix wiring. 🤗🤠
I know you could. The job is easy, getting to it, with my weight, bad back, etc is just a no go.

I'm waiting for my tomatoes to ripen, then I'll have coin of the realm to pay Popgadget for a visit.
thankfully all these lights are accessible by an exterior regular ladder, which I no longer own, one way of keeping me off them,
so fixing these lights really means just having a ladder. First have to remove e-bike likely.

maybe I should just suck it up and get a small lightweight aluminum ladder just for the rv.
lots of experience on ladders but legs no longer can take it. And much of what legs are attached to...
then I could send my 14 yo helper up there without worrying about him.
Still doesn't solve problem of waxing front eyebrow above windshield; pretty sure I need scaffolding.
whatever i get has to be lightweight yet of course strong. With padded ends.

weather forecast looks nice for a drive, no need for lights, though I do keep them on until bright light out.
Particularly on my local roads, no drls and dark shaded country curvy roads. Lights on for sure.
but otherwise:

Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay!
My, oh my, what a wonderful day.
Plenty of sunshine headin’ my way,
Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay!

69 and foggy. This seems to be the longest streak of high humidity days I can remember for several years...last summer had a nice cool and low humidity break every week...now grass never dries before the next rain and you soak your shirt just standing around. But this is better than drought...so I'm only whispering this complaint. Going to 91.

Thomas, real pretty spot you have.

Ron, how have you changed your walking style? I met a 74 YO lady backpacking last year and she said she had changed hers and it made a world of difference. I know that the trail runners I wear have different models for over pronation or under pronation, but that's about all I know.

Took Della hiking but the river was too high for a full swim, so splashing in the creek was her bonus.

Then went to a county meeting about a proposed plan to build a quarry on 1300 acres in our neck of the woods...big company with a slick presentation...enough granite to last over 100 years. Huge crowd of residents there. I know the man who lives "next door" ...a hay farmer...many farms nearby that have been farmed by the same family for many generations and small curvy roads with lots of school bus stops have the parents upset...500 truck trips a day, and a new railroad spur to cross the road to allow rail distribution. They had 3 sheriff deputies there, but the crowd was peaceful.

good morning, 69 going to 87 sunny

Walking Cody the "resident' deer was only 20 or 30 ft away and I was able to get Cody to sit instead of lounging. Good boy

Did some trimming and identified another tree to come down when the tree cutters come out next week

D is getting her blood work today to send to the patient's doctors for review. Apparently it is like winning the lottery to get a match close enough. Learned that the patient is a 20 year old with blood cancer

Podiatrist had cast made of my foot and had hard inserts made that covers the heel and half way of the sole. It has made a huge difference and able to walk without pain

Morning all!
65 going to 83.
Birthday wishes for Mostly and Happy!
Rain forecast for every day has kept the driveway sealing from being completed!
Will be done today so he says.
Bug spraying visit 1 of 4 was completed at both locations at least.
Neck issues and rain are keeping me still pretty much inactive. Lawn mowing and string trimming need to be done. Will be turning to shrubbery soon if I don't get out there!
With all the rain and humidity we haven't got any walks in for quite a while!
Managed to make a small cherry and walnut box in the shop. Good project as it gave me time to slowly burn in all the decoration. I used the laser to put on the leaves. Wife loved it and grabbed it for her collection.
Not sure what will happen today.
Hope everyone stays safe and healthy!
