Neck and hand issues have pretty much kept me quiet for the last couple days.
Doctor visit the other day went well. Labs show improvement on all that were tested. Still need to redo bone density test. Waiting on insurance to authorize!!
Hot and humid in the forecast so nothing planned for the future. Might play in the shop if body will let me.
Did get a practice piece done over the last few days. Was just a chunk off of the wood pile. Not sure what I will do with it.

Might turn it into a dish or just throw out.
Time for a second cup!

Good Morning Guys,
Ct,66 to start going to 88 with enough humidity that you could cut it with a knife.

Noticed 2 juvenile groundhogs out back when I got back to the house.

RS, I have used my 22/250 in the past but recently they were close enough that I took them out with my 20 ga Remington 1100 with 7 1/2 shot, some old skeet loads.

Today I get to celebrate another completion of trip around the sun. As my Son says, I am one year away from celebrating being 21 four times.

Got the Zero turn out yesterday after going to HD for more Trex to replace the porch deck in Vermont.
Today I have a dentist appointment to fix a cracked filling and then driving out to Wallingford to meet another radio club member and the plan is to use his transceiver to activate that park under my call sign for my first park activation. Then home in the afternoon later to watch 2 of the grandkids.

Billy, I was always impressed with guys that had Popeye forearms.
Definitely want those guys as your friend !

Not to much again yesterday. Got a couple of hand picked rock it the bucket and the hand placed to shore up some spots on the bridge before it got to hot.
Entertained the dog and took it easy in the afternoon. More of the same on todays agenda.

76° and humid, might make 90 with chance of airmass thunderstorms late in the day.

You can tell it’s humid out there!

Fairly productive day yesterday, got the tire mounted on the Progressive mower. It’s the one making ground contact.

Picked up the material (1/2” hot rolled steel bar) and cut out the parts for my friend. They go on a machine to remove railroad ties.

I am still amazed at the quality of the cuts on the plasma table.

After following Kyle’s advice and cleaning the scroll and jaws on the 3 jaw lathe chuck, the runout is less than .001, which is quite acceptable.

I got the Lazer out and mowed around the house and the runway, but I think it’s still too wet to mow with the tractor for the big areas.

Not sure what I’ll do today, been thinking about making a winch mount that hooks on a ladder to lift HVAC components onto a roof for my mechanical contractor buddy.
It would use a HF ATV winch powered by a Milwaukee M18 battery. Hasn’t progressed out of my head and into AutoCad yet, but it is coming together.
