Good morning!!!!

Happy Birthday Ron! I hope you have a blessed day, and your foot gets better. Also hope you get a big piece of cake.

Speaking of eating sweets, have any of you heard of Warren Buffett's eating habits?
Drinks 5 cokes a day.
7 times the normal amount of sugar a day.
McDonalds breakfast biscuit 7 days a week for 54 years.
EATS NO VEGETABLES.
Dairy Queen chili cheese dog and sundaes for lunch.
Often eats See's candy/chocolates.
Almost 95 years old IIRC. Docs say his blood work shows good numbers.
Says keys to longevity are 8 hours of sleep, and living a stress free life.
Says he looked at the demographics and that 6 year olds are the least likely to die, so he "eats like a 6 year old."
Works 12 hour days.
Reads 5-6 hours a day.
Loves to play card game Bridge for mental stimulation.

Warren Buffett turns 94 today. His secret to longevity? Coca-Cola, candy, and a life of joy

Morning all, 74 going to 91 and the air is moist !
Got a haircut and picked up some food items.
Then re-potted the dad tree into it's new pot. Waiting for dirt to settle a bit and finish that.
Started raining again, so didn't need to water.

Today hope to move the dirt around the driveway to get it evened out on the high side.
That may take a few days with 700 feet of road to do.

Happy birthday Ron and as always thank you for the great morning pictures.

Be well,

Since my neighbor and friend died in my vehicle on the way to the hospital Sunday morning I couldn't see myself driving it anymore.
Shame as it was less than 6 months old.
I get my new replacement Mazda CX90 Friday.
Still shock up. Haven't heard the autopsy results yet. Heart related probably at only 48.

Good Morning
76° and humid, might make 90 with chance of airmass thunderstorms late in the day.

You can tell it’s humid out there!

Fairly productive day yesterday, got the tire mounted on the Progressive mower. It’s the one making ground contact.

Picked up the material (1/2” hot rolled steel bar) and cut out the parts for my friend. They go on a machine to remove railroad ties.

I am still amazed at the quality of the cuts on the plasma table.

After following Kyle’s advice and cleaning the scroll and jaws on the 3 jaw lathe chuck, the runout is less than .001, which is quite acceptable.

I got the Lazer out and mowed around the house and the runway, but I think it’s still too wet to mow with the tractor for the big areas.

Not sure what I’ll do today, been thinking about making a winch mount that hooks on a ladder to lift HVAC components onto a roof for my mechanical contractor buddy.
It would use a HF ATV winch powered by a Milwaukee M18 battery. Hasn’t progressed out of my head and into AutoCad yet, but it is coming together.

Happy Birthday Ron!

dropped off a spare dvd player to my friend in Doylestown who has two grandchildren coming in and a broken dvd player.
Plus I loaned her half a dozen movies I had, including a good chick flick, pretty woman.

swung by my childhood farm on the way home, wanted to take pics for siblings.
The big rock in the rear lawn of this huge home used to be in the front lawn of our old home, which they
tore down. But nice to see someone has kept up with the masonry on the old stone incinerator.
Doubt there are too many of those left.
This was beautiful in its day. Used to be four 55 gallon drums on the right side, you'd feed the burnable stuff into the opening on the right side
and the ashes would get scooped out on left bottom. All of it went into woods far away from anything, and in last ten years we had farm we got all that cleaned up. Private dumps not allowed for sure much less private incinerators. But a nice memory of the past.

I got my rifle practice with a .22 single shot Marlin in that dump, blasting away at those bottles and cans.
My father was an early Rodale organic gardener and that dump always bothered him, finally said no more.

Ken's home is on the other side of that hill, Bowman's Hill, to the right.

Mortally wounded the first one, second one which was closer to the house froze.
Big mistake on its part as that enabled me to get the second shot off.
Hauled those up to the lot for buzzards, one of which was already circling when I drove up.

Now RS, those nice animals have rights too. Did you offer them counseling first?
I see you gave them the accelerated funeral service at no extra charge, nice of you.
happy fat buzzards tonight
your plants will sleep better now

:ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:Rodents have had their counseling over the decades usually including lots of and varied 4 letter words. These counseling should suffice for a great many generations :) :)
