Good Morning
43° and the sun shining through the clouds. High of 48 with dissipating clouds, another dry windy day. Should help to dry things up out there.
Yesterday got off to a good start with the professor, oldest son joined us as well.
Afterwards, I headed off to the electric supply to get the material to electrify the new shed. That project required rearranging the end bay of the shop from winter storage (ready to plow snow) to summer storage (ready to mow).
As long as the Lazer was out and running, I mowed around the buildings, and followed up with the string trimmer and blower. It’s this sort of distraction from the task at hand that keeps me busy all day.
After the mowing was out of my system, I swept out the bay and set up the laser to give me a straight line to drill the joists for the wire. Drilling the joists and pulling the wire in a 12 foot ceiling by yourself is good exercise. Plenty of trips up and down the 10’ stepladder. But I managed to get it run from the panel and the breaker installed before dinner, even with an excursion to the neighbors to locate their FIOS cable so they didn’t drill a post hole through it.
It looks like they might have hit if they didn’t locate it and adjust the fence to span it. Long odds for a post hole on 100 acres to line up with a utility.
Today I hope to get the feed into the shed, and get the breaker panel and wiring done in there, so it’s ready for the urethane foam.
Grandson has program at school that I will likely attend, so that will interrupt progress, but I don’t have any other plans, so I should get it all done.
