Fuel guy just left. 576 gallons (I filled the house tank while he was filling the big tank.) $4.99/gallon. Fairly easy to take.
A buck a gallon would be better, but that'll never happen.
I dipped the tank and it has 40" in it. 8" of head space. By the time the hot weather gets here there will be more head space and the house tank (sits on the north side of the house) is always in the shade will be almost full.

No rain after the little bit this morning. Went to lunch, exchanged 2 propane tanks that were outdated, they won’t sell pellets by ton now, just by bag and they have 20+ tons sitting there.
Home, then ran down to pharmacy. Home again.
Grass dry, changed clothes, open barn door, starts light rain. Swapped mower behind ranger, seat wet from the short time outside to pull ranger in ahead.
So no mow. Sitting on porch with snagglepuss curled on my lap.

Phil, I’m curious as to how you carved the OD of the bowl that looks like a helical cut gear. It appears to be amazingly uniform.

I did it with my index wheel on the lathe to mark it out and used a long round file to carve them in. They're really not that true or straight. Pic makes it look better than it really is.

so he unloaded the shed on the blacktop and placed it with the mule

Paul , it’s very cool watching their mule maneuver the shed around. Here’s a pic of them moving my 12 by 20 ft Model A shed in Ct.

I would fuel myself off my 5,000 gallon tank, Crooked? Yes

Bill, working for another company years ago I went to the terminal for load of dyed diesel, and it came out clear, much to my boss’s happiness. I dumped that load back in the tank for all our on road vehicles
