My days of painting with a ladder on the roof are over. Painting the chimney caps were included in the bid. 5 guys are busy painting the house today.

3 days min to get my hydraulic links new seals and only if in inventory on Oahu.

Need to start new round of mowing. Had thoughts of switching out to my flail, but will just use the rotary with the manual links.

successful day starting with hooking rv up to water and not finding one leak. Amazing.
then with great difficulty planted three J&P roses through very rocky ground. Started using planting auger
on Makita cordless drill to give me a center hole to dig around. Sure miss not having a phd but with motorhome there,
no room. Then appliance folks came and brought my new washing machine. That is now running and will continue for awhile
as I catch up.

am hoping by end of summer this will be a wall of roses, red on left, yellow in center and pink on the right.

time to put my feet up.

Was good morning doing lawn etc. clean up almost made to snow line but area got soft.
mrs. appointment went well,spent more time checking and waiting for the doctor in which he was 45 mins. late,I why got no reply.

Plans for the evening...Mrs. cooking burgersss on the grill with all the fixings first time this year,just might set on the deck enjoy smooth cigar.

Last week of March Thomas beware nor’easter coming to visit might be last polar vortex split that will bring cold stormy weather. Glad wife ok give her big hug.

Visit with doctor good wife’s anxiety better still very confused. Large areas of memory missing but still knows she loves me. That’s all I need.

Worked on the deck some more, got 2 new rail posts in, very securely fasted do the joists, unlike the old rail posts.... That original deck guy should have been fired. Once all new rail posts are on, then can start replacing deck boards.
Will order brackets to attach railing Sorry pic was sideways..flipped it .

Good (Thursday) morning. Overnight Low of 13.0C and it's presently 31.0C! Fairly clear and calm.

Well, my plumber called and had to pull out of the Church guttering job due to other work commitments. He said that he'd send me the number of an alternate plumber... that's the problem with living in a small rural town, it's only big enough to support 'just so many' tradesmen.

Still nothing back from the tree-trimmer/arborist. Same 'small town' situation.

Nothing really 'on' for today. I do have an evening dinner/meeting to attend.

Good evening all. 54ºF for the start, partly cloudy sky, windy. Very windy, peaked at 30-45 mph, variable cloudiness, high temp at 3AM as front went through. Warmest daylight temp was 57ºF, and low temp forecast to be 46ºF at 11:5 PM. Made coffee to start day, Men's meeting, then start organizing thank you notes to finish those. Trip to town for lunch HD for trailer bunk hardware, and groceries. While at Chick-fil-A, little girl came up to me and asked if I wanted a hug, then gave me one. High point of my day Too windy to ride outside, did get nap in and dinner with group.
Massyrider Thanks, usually takes about 1.5 hours, just do it all at once. This is one of the few places where if people can't say something positive then they don't say anything !!
Massyrider I was fortunate with my wife she was laid back about a lot of stuff! We could work out a schedule amiable to both of us. Hope pruning goes well. Hope the roads loose their salt soon. Very windy here.
NHBX Glad you were able to accomplish more than anticipated. Mice tulips are coming up. Hope lawn was firm enough for tractor work.

Buppies no fun being the domestic goddess. It is a bigger transition to a new life routine when losing a partner to dementia or death then most people realize. It is going to take a while. If you get an opportunity to go to grief share or counseling try it. Ann loved to mow as well. Hope Holly visit goes well, will Dr be there during visit? Nice cars Prayers sent

Bill miserable weather. Hope ice less than predicted. Hope dump run and vampire visit went well. When critters found duck nest they just abandoned it. Second attempt at nesting was abandoned before eggs laid.
