Morning all!
High of 19 reached dropping to 6 tonight.
RIP to Bird! Prayers for him and his family and friends!
A bit under the weather yesterday and today. Not sure if a touch of the flu or acid reflux issues from something!
Resting and keeping the fluids going.
Looks like ice and snow for us tonight and tomorrow. Then more this weekend.
Pellet stove is going nuts on us! It's either 75 in the house or shut off. Ordered a new board for ir. Should be in on Saturday. Will see if my brother in law can repair the old one with a heavier duty potentiometer.
This is the third one going bonkers on this stove. You can feel that it somehow arcs inside and burns the contacts.
Nothing else going on. Back to my resting. Wanted to make sure I acknowledged Bird!
Hope everyone stays safe and healthy!
what brand of pellet stove?

I was scrolling through the posts from that day, too, and thinking the same thing. Randy was still coming around back then as well.

Did anyone ever find out why Eric disappeared?
I tried to direct PM him and go not response.
Same with Heloglobals (spelling?).

Ford dealership emails back, we fixed it with an update.
maybe they updated the nav map data and that fixed the reason why it was losing
gps signal. Or maybe not. They are bringing it back to me.
another 200 for this, my warranty deductible.
I actually don't mind paying a couple hundred bucks to have the map data updated;
always thought Garmin's promise of updates for life a major plus for them.
you sure don't get updates for life for anything in our cars.

am curious to see if they washed my car while it was there.
I always tip the guy who returns my car. Let's see if they earned the tip.

Good Morning!!!! 45F @ 9:45AM. Mostly sunny. High 56F. Winds SSE at 10 to 15 mph.
A nice respite today from the rain, but Thursday and Friday look wet again. Dry for the weekend, though. Pretty much rained steady all day yesterday, with roof rattling wind to keep things interesting. Just over 2" of rain fell. Now there are river flood warnings up, Lake Oroville is up over 16 feet in the last three days, with only 40 feet left to full.

Thanks for the update on Bird, Ron. There but for the grace of God...

Those GPS updates are rediculously expensive, Drew. Another reason I've gone over to phone based GPS, as that database is kept way more current than the propriatory ones used by the auto manufacturers.

Yesterday I decided to stop digging and reinstalled the smart light switches in the great room. I had carelessly not photographed the connections to the original three and four way switch circuits when I had installed the smart switches, and never got the original switches to work properly when I removed the smart switches. Now everythings working again, but I need a couple of switch plate covers to finish up.

Today I'll load two pallets of firewood into the van, and move a bunch of boxes into it and the trailer. Probably get a little more cleaning done, too.

Happy Hump Day, folks!

41 rain close by looks as if snow next week will go north of us hang on Thomas. I use phone for directions Apple Maps google spies too much. Phone hooks to radio in truck so map shows up with directions best of both worlds

Good afternoon

Harman accentra insert. Great stove except for the electronics. I had to change the board in the Harman I have in the woodshop also.
Where do you get the boards? I have Harman, love it. Mine won’t shut off unless I crack the pellet lid. But I’ve ran it like that for years. That started after running it on generator w lousy harmonics.

Good (Thursday) morning. Overnight Low of 9.6C and it's presently 21.8C, partly cloudy and fairly calm.

Yesterday turned out to be somewhat 'active'. PO visit resulted in my Aus Gov Pensioner Concession Card finally arriving! So my first stop was to the medical clinic to let them know = no charge for my previous appointment of last week.

Petrol for the ute and weekly groceries, then home.

Phone call to the Power Supplier = concession now applied to my rate. I then wondered if "Telstra" (my phone/internet provider) provided a concession? So I gave it a shot and called them [nothing ventured, nothing gained]. After a half hour on hold waiting for a human, it turns out that 'they' do! Woo-hoo!

The horses then got transferred to Paddock #1. I'll chain-harrow today.

But first today... I noticed a leak from the hose providing water to the "Mad Horse Woman" trough. So I've shut that supply off and will need to go into town to get a replacement hose. Only after that can I think about any 'tractor fun'.

That's about it, take care all.
