Scott, your wife could start a restaurant with all those pans.
probably doesn't like to throw the old ones out...
while some folks swear by seasoned cast iron, I try to find the nonstick du jour that
has least toxic coating.
RNG, I'm pretty dysfunctional using a smart phone.
however....I do have a brand new Ipad I could use and that could run Google maps which
I prefer. Primarily because it's easy to plan your drive by dragging the route around if needed.
some software you can just pick this route or that route.
nav on car is at least a gen old, not very impressive or intuitive, often seems to lock up.
So I might try using the Ipad. I know I can get a mount for that.
made appt online to have car taken into shop next wednesday.
finally went back and read warranty fine print. Hoses not covered.
BUT replacement of coolant covered if accompanied by breakdown.
bingo
plus they owe 100 of my 125 tow
I could double dip on the tow claim but old insurance underwriters would suffer
an unpleasant burning hell forever if they did that...
decided on Powerstop ceramic brake pads, with clips and ordered them through Amazon.
they had very good reviews and I googled Powerstop and checked out the company. Seemed to be all good.
Thanks Frits.
brake pads will be installed when truck goes to rv mechanic who said he would be glad to work on my car.
Helps that his wife drives an expedition... He is less than half the price of everyone else, doesn't care where I get parts,
no fake fees, just good honest work. Worth the drive though I do try to support the local guy.
Rv guy is a truck fleet maintenance person and sure knows brake jobs.
didn't get much accomplished today
