Good Morning,
Ct, 10 to start going to 30 ! The sun is out and I need to get going , need to get up to Vermont and remove the old washer/dryer stackable unit out ! HD is supposed to call me today and deliver new unit tomorrow! Hopefully this all goes according to plan ! Also hope delivery truck doesn’t have any issues with the DW !

We are going to take Kathleen’s car, better on gas than my Ford ! It’s a quick trip since we are coming home on Sunday!

Phil, I loved that figure in the burl! Very nice !

Better get going, have a lot to do today !

Good Morning
17° when I woke up this morning, 25° now and forecast to get to 31. All under a clear blue sky.

Yesterday was another day of tinkering, did some cleanup, did some experimenting with plasma table settings, cleaned up some, then went out to do some errands.
Met some friends for lunch, went to Drew’s neighborhood and picked up a key fob and manuals for the Lexus. They had 2 complete sets of owners manuals and user guides, over 1000 pages of instructions for a car.
Got home and continued to sort through paper work.
Going through filing cabinets that contain the manuals for pretty much every device and appliance and device ever installed in the house.
I’ll throw out the ones for things that are long gone, unless they have some interest as a curio. I will give all the relevant stuff to my son, and hopefully have room to file all the stuff that I’m uncovering, like the manual for a Thorens turntable from the 70’s (that I still have).

I have some paperwork that I need to get done, tonight is the night to get the trash and recycling to the street, no music tonight, singer/rhythm guitar player is at the NAMM show in Anaheim for his day job.
Possibly a Costco run or ?

I’m pretty sure I’m supposed to disconnect the old unit myself! I Tge unit is shoehorned into a tiny utility room, that I need to clear before I even attempt to remove it ! It’s probably best that I do all the preliminary work before they get there ! JMO !

Good morning! 20˚F, it was only supposed to go to 27˚. Sunny skies will hit the upper 50s today and supposed to be the end of the freezing temps. With the wind changing and coming from the Gulf there is also a 40% chance of rain tomorrow.

All sorts of outdoor project today but first uncover all the plants then maybe mow/bag the backyard dead grass very low so the spring green grass will look good and then there is the trellis I can start on.

During the broken pool robot e-mail exchange with Amazon I was sometimes getting the feeling I was talking to two separate people or one person who did not know English very well. That was confirmed last night when a second replacement robot was delivered. I've sent them an email explaining and their answer did not make sense. You could tell English's not their first language. They said to wait a few days for the delivery company to get it right, no they got it wrong already and there is nothing the delivery company can do. This will be hard to explain to them.

If you have two, sell one.

I tried to get a delivery company to fix a bad delivery, after weeks of attempting, I gave up.

I guess the person ordering it, just ordered another one. Or so I hope.

guess I should go for some kind of walk outside, still a bit cold
car is filthy, but when I passed by the car wash in Doylestown yesterday the line was backed out
onto the main road, causing a traffic hazard. I just went around and went home.
have to be careful if it's really cold, owner of one car wash said he had to make sure his brushes weren't icing up.
after a car wash, next time you try to open the trunk lid in really cold weather it may be frozen stuck.

I've only done it a few times but I've had to ask for someone who spoke better English because
we were repeating everything two or three times.
Too bad they don't have an actual universal translator, something that fits in say your eyeglasses.
one that translated any language, alien ones too. All the sci fi books say they have them...
of course then no one would try to learn anyone else's language if the software did it all.

and boy would it be fun if it could translate cat and dog...
