Water softener started acting right, no more salty water. Must have had a flicker of electricity last night during it's regeneration cycle and it worked out the glitch.
20% chance of snow tonight 30% tomorrow - so they don't know. hope the wintery mix stays away,

9° and dropping just set new yearly low. 9 was the low last year, but think it came in March.

From the weather forecast I am watching it looks like the next 3 days could be a good excuse to stay home with a bottle of whatever alcoholic beverage you prefer in Texas.

Good (Tuesday) morning. Overnight Low of 14.0C and it's presently 24.3C, mostly sunny & fairly calm.
Yesterday arvo I went 'into town' = mail and posted a A$10 small, stuffed, toy penguin to my Sister in Canada. Postage was A$15 ... but she loves penguins. I then filled up the ute & a 20ltr canister with petrol. Topped the trip off at the Church to linseed-oil the inner doors.
Of course, I've received notification that I have more/some mail at the PO. <sigh> I'm still waiting for the Age Pension concession card, but at least my OAP has started.
That's about it, take care all.
