my wife once backed one car into the other.

Our daughter did that with our 2009 "new" Jetta and her 2006 Honda Fit in our driveway. She was mortified, creased both cars pretty good. They wanted ~$1K to fix the jetta. We didn't get it fixed, then ~3 yrs later VW bough it back due to Dieselgate.

Wife was up most of night, back pain, probably due to the weather. Am sure the conversation will come up again about relocating/moving to a warmer place during the winter. Heck, I feel it too.

That is a reason I've been trying to relocate to our land in Mississippi SINCE 2012!. Plan was to summer in the cooler Virginia, winter in the warmer south.
DOESN'T WORK for us!
Almost every year we have ended up spending the winter in northern Virginia. And now with the unexpected increase in grandchildren in the area from 1 to 5 it's beginning to look doubtful we will move at all.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 8° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 18° with cloudy skies. Got ice removed from walkways. Finished what couldn't break loose with shovel with Ice melt. No ice on walkways this morning. Made it to Milan, MI. Roads and traffic where good for trip. Picked up Kubota Quick Pin Attachment for front end loader. Have to make a couple of mods to make it fit my loader. Good winter project. Checked Antifreeze in both tractors and mower. Good for at least -20° on all three. No plans for today yet.

At eight degrees my plans would be keep a fresh pot of coffee brewing and staying close to the residence heat source.

Morning all, up to 36 and down to 15 tonight with 4"+ in forecast.

Went out to Lambertville NJ for dinner at the new Thai place and to a restaurant in an old Victorian mansion (under the moon cafe) for drinks, trying to keep it low cost, but fun. Usual club soda for me.
Son had another concert last night at a friends place, they get a hundred or more kids to these concerts.

M7040 - you need some ice cleats. Hope the finger heals fast.

Had a nice talk with new neighbor. I will drop some firewood over for him and he is letting me cut back some brush on his side of my yard.

Speaking of which, I need to grab some more firewood for up by the door. PLow and snowblower are ready.

Drew - nice truck. If you need help with the tech let me know.

Nice photos of the Buck Brothers. I haven’t seen the herd that hangs out at my place lately. Saw a lot of tracks around the house after the 3 inches of snow we had. So they must be moving when I am sleeping.

63°F and .01 inches rain.

Good progress mowing yesterday. Have about hour left of significant Guinea grass mounds. Could be tricky as I’ve been stuck high centered in the area.

The Persian dinner was excellent. Can’t remember the name, but strips of marinated filet mignon, ground beef, roasted tomatoes, saffron rice and pita bread. Yummy.

Got state taxes filed and paid, always a highlight.

Easy day ahead, watch some playoffs.

Evening all!
Currently 32 and snowing.
Today's take it easy day turned into a battery swap on one car. Install 2 door speakers into another car. Try and swap winter tires from one car onto another. Didn't work, bolt pattern was just off.
Glad that's over with.
Wife and I also squeezed a walk in there too. Was actually warm enough for me to take off my hat and unzip my coat. Who would think 32 would feel warm?
Now we wait for morning to see what the damage will be from the storm. This cleaning 3 driveways stuff is getting old real fast!
Did some work in the shop yesterday. Need to still get things sorted and put away. My iffy project turned out to be a total bust! Oh well, Can't improve if you don't try!

Will post again after the storm.
