Good morning all,
29° now highs in the upper 30’s and cloudy today. Winds NNW 5-10 mph. Snow supposed to start around supper time and continue until just before daybreak tomorrow,
Guessers are calling for 5-8” we shall see lol. We had about .25” rain early last night so not in any hurry to test the stairs and walkways for ice, as others have proven (including myself) falling down is not good you!
No real plans for today, feet up and see what happens.

Looks like you've been at your lathe again. And who else would be using Anchor Lube?
I keep 2" HDPE stock around for making bushings too.
Guilty as charged. That part was acetal (Delrin) though, as it’s just for alignment. I do keep HDPE for bushings.
Anchorlube is awesome, have a few bottles scattered around the shop.

37 and might make 50 today before the real cold sets in. Yesterday was pretty much nothing...according to my plan
Took the dog on a couple of walks but that was it.
Trying to give my sore body a rest after falling in the river. Came down pretty hard on my wallet. Decided maybe my back pocket is not the place for my phone.
Probably not much more then that except to top off radiators with the anti-freeze that came yesterday.
Maybe a little football. Too bad about Detroit. Wanted to see them get a little further at least.
Off to a second cup.

took me almost five minutes to back volvo out of garage, had two inches clearance to clear Expedition
and every beeper in the world was going off. Then went downtown and picked
up quiche, danish and chopped fruit to take for brunch to my
friends later on. Weather reports show I should be home before too much accumulates.
and then I watch it come down til time to fire up snowblower. I'll likely do that anyway before it gets dark.
otherwise tomorrow morning will be dig out time.
as long as power stays on, I'm happy with whatever comes down.
dealing with a portable gen in the snow is doable but sure not much fun.

37 outside right now, that will be the high for today. Rain, snow mix coming down. Sure could use some more melting of the last snowfall. Driveway still pretty bad.
Not much going on today, moved about a cord of wood around yesterday, after recovery and splitting. That should be enough for the season. Hope. Little tired from that.
Wife was up most of night, back pain, probably due to the weather. Am sure the conversation will come up again about relocating/moving to a warmer place during the winter. Heck, I feel it too.

Ct, 24 to start going to 38 ! Snow moving in later today. Went to bed at 8 last night and finally woke up at 7, with a couple of pee breaks in between!
Feeling quite a bit better this morning, Amen to that !

Paul, when I was a modelmaker at Pitney Bowes, I had an endless supply of Delrin AF, that was great for certain types of bushings !
Drew, nice looking vehicle, best of luck with it !
Kathleen is sick now, she went to the walk in clinic awhile ago ! Hopefully we both get better soon !
