Billy, actually we cut up tomatoes and lettuce and onions for the burgers that we cook ! So I guess we can use that !Scott, glad you learned helpful info....never know when your firehouse will add salad as an option
That was exactly the situation in Paradise, CA, Don. My friend that used to live there kept his yard clear of pine needles, but just over his backyard fence, all his neighbors had a foot thick layer of it. They called it mulch, and would do nothing to clear it. I suspect that is a pretty common situation in most of what is burning now in LA.I wonder if the California neighborhoods now would be interested in volunteering to clear their underbrush. They can't control the winds but they can control the fire load.
It got worse! -12 last night at the cottage, and we are an hour south of L4N!L4N, I could not deal with those temps right now. I have in the past.
Current winds at 2.5mph, peak 10 mph, projected at 18mph later.

how old is it Frits?checked the furnace oil firing tube liner and found it OK with a few cracks that I will keep an eye on.
