Today was haircut and quick Costco run for 3 things.
Costco sucks

the money right from the wallet, as I ended up with 13 things.

We are getting the camper ready for a weekend trip. Can’t believe how much stuff we take for 2 nights.

RNG and Dennis and all others "heading out", have fun.
as you might imagine I'm happy to stay home...

watered the plants, ate a cherry tomato, was going to wash the car but township now
requests commercial car washes using recycled water due to drought situation.
and no rain in the ten day.

landlady called, she was worried the wackadoo next door would spoil my trip and not a chance.
He's seen me and not come over. Good. She is coming over for coffee on Sat morning, not feeling well due to
chemo. Unfortunate, very nice older lady who has become a friend and not just a landlord.

filled the birdfeeders for first time in two months. Wonder how long it will take for them to discover me again.
Filled up the birdbath, that's a draw in dry weather.

tomorrow lot of running around, including retrieving my house plants from a friend who babysat them.
will get car washed in Doylestown.

made appt for Volvo next week for oil change and new spark plugs.
They give me a loaner volvo so it's easy. And they don't overcharge, never any gouging.
of course I don't buy the 60k service package, or however they name it.
Four plugs are a lot less than ten plugs for the rv...

sitting in Volvo's best seats after that rv for two months was a very different feeling.
At least it started.

I took a hot shower and sat on my teak seat in a normal size tub and just went aaahhhhh.
good to be home

Ted, that's really excellent news. Keep it coming.
How about your pretty wife being pain free and doing handstands in the garden?

I wish I were closer. It is so much better than others.
the one in New Hope either closed or will, another bank going in.
what we need is a good car wash, back to nothing again.
it's a slam dunk locally, most of these folks don't wash their own cars

and being one block from township building I can't be washing my car out in plain sight
after their last appeal for water conservation

I am on well water and seem to be doing fine for now. But only watering what I have too.
I have lost a lot of ground cover and a bush or 2 out on the fringes.

I worked in a car wash while in High School, before I got my work permit.
Still hate washing cars
Was the first job I used a stick welder on though.....works great in a wet environment
Boss was a looney, wonder if he ever got caught by the IRS or a disgruntled customer.
Plenty of good stories from that stint.

Happy anniversary M7040 ! Good to see the rice temple Tori's amazing how many there are. Big Bamboos not far away from that temple.

Thank you Ken. Not sure if she visited the forest due to her Colitis problem that hit her for a couple of days. She really loved Kyoto and area around there. Osaka not so much. We hope it goes well for her in Vietnam, Laos and Thailand

Good (Friday) morning. Overnight Low of 1.7C and it's presently 16.1C, fairly clear with a steady wind.

A 'busy' morning so far. I received a call regarding a 'fully ON' hot water tap at the Church. So I've been 'into town' already and determined that the valves simply need to be replaced. I've got a few in a drawer out in my workshop, so I'll do that later on today.

Whilst 'in town' I also picked up a newly delivered "Nespresso" order from the PO.

Who knows what else may happen today, eh?
