Good morning! 65˚F heading to the upper 80s - Dry no rain.

The weather should be the same for Saturday and most likely the busiest day at the "Adventure" farm this year. With each trailer full times 5 trips per hour I figure I haul 2000 people each shift, with two trailers and and 1.5 shifts per day about 6000 people get a ride and there are a lot of people that just walk to the back/front. Busy busy busy, the way I like it. With all those people we have 1 Deputy for security and he gets bored. He has been working several years and every once in a while he has a lost child looking for their parents or a loud drunk. No theft or assaults.

Sage bushes are in the ground however I don't think two will make it because the place I planted them limestone had to be chipped to make the hole. Picked up 6 bags of black wood chips to start the mulching of the beds I will probably need a total of 50 bags.

The backyard camera picked up a family of 3 raccoons a possum and a deer roaming in the backyard.

Time to let the pool robots clean the pool.

What ever happen to the days when you only went to the doctor when you were sick?

RNG, tend to think this Dr/exam thing somewhat a joke. How should we to expect them to find something wrong? My exams as a kid were more extensive.
This last visit I asked about colonoscopy as I now my last exam was pre pandemic. I asked about the mail it in as I’ve always been clear and no family history. Doc said exam not indicated as I was over 75 yo. Get the feeling maybe I’m on my way out ready or not and they don’t care.
Of course the otherside of that is I was chastised for not coming in often enough, should be several times a year vs more that year in between. Guess they are looking for my answers to change. They get annoyed when I tell them they only want to see me because I have insurance.
Gave up on my GP doctor but my Cardio doctor is the best. Have been using him for many years for regular check ups. He takes his time, have time to talk about the latest with family, kids etc and medical issues. Add on to his lab blood work for other blood work outside his field as well to keep tabs. Only use the GP doctor when I have to.
Patients complain about wait time is too long but I am happy to wait for my turn

morning all, 60 going to 67 and cloudy, dry.
Wired up and started putting out the rest of the holiday decorations.
Had to fix some animated devices, nothing a drill and some screws couldn't handle.

Wngsprd - my dog completely loses it when the dremel comes out. It takes three people to do nail trimming, why we bring her to clinic. I have clipped them myself, but dog is pretty strong and squirmy.

Good luck with the phone, I've had to remove sim and put it back, but sometimes they do go.

Happy anniversary M7040 ! Good to see the rice temple Tori's amazing how many there are. Big Bamboos not far away from that temple.

Drew - it's so dry here that they gave us a fire warning yesterday.
I watered the back lawn areas well so I can use the firepit this weekend.
No rain in the 10 day.

Be well,

Night sky more dramatic with leaves thinning, can see some stars if you zoom in NE view

Hope the no sim issue isn't because someone did a sim swap on you, to take over the phone account. That's becoming quite the problem, especially for those that use their phone for banking and 2 factor authentication, cause now they can authenticate as you...

most campers have the screw down jack stabilizers. I use a drill. They don't take much weight, but helps minimize the bouncing.

haven't ran my farm boss in quite some time.

right now i'm just toying around with RV.

Have feeling tax/city might be doing the same thing, new fire station was voted down twice end of May revote and pass, less than 2 months old fire station torn down and new cement footing have been poured. 🙄
I thought no vote meant no vote and that department had to try again next year.
'NO' means we will keep trying and convince some people, alive or dead to vote 'yes'. Just another way to waste taxpayers' money. Now watch, your taxes will go up.

Good morning TBN!!
49 going to about 80 with lots of sun again.
Fairly laid back day yesterday.
I have my compressor back and put about an hour of seat time just working on cleaning up a bit more of Helene.
No big plan for today. Probably a bit of leaf blowing.
I made fun of my wife for wanting to plant trees in the woods around us but I guess I could say the same about leaf blowing in the woods.
Son is supposed to come from Ohio but he is waiting on a repair to his caddy to be finished so we will see!
Starting to warm up so it's off to the unknown!
Have a great and safe day!!

67°F and 0 rain.

After Costco yesterday I went by the LS dealer. Picked up the part he had, but he is still waiting on another. Tech wasn’t there but said he’d leave part available for me. Not a big deal, having been there before and only 4 miles away. Except I get there and just a guy skateboarding in an empty parking lot. They moved, beginning of the month. Guess tech didn’t think to tell me. New location? About 2 blocks from Costco, just below Home Depot. Would have been so convenient had I known.

Plan for the day. Remove LS fuel tank. Make sure it’s clean. Replace the fuel level sensor and reinstall. Remove and clean the fuel filter housing (missing part). Replace the Hand throttle sensor with new one from Messicks, TBN suggestion. Then hope for the best.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

so nice to be home
lovely fall leaves out but I didn't remember 81 being so rough in PA. It needs to be totally redone.
next time I'll take the turnpike, actually smoother
took a few things out of rv but going to lay down for a bit, then take a long hot shower.
very pleasant 68 out and sunny, but very dry, will probably be watering later.

Good morning! Low of 43°, heading upwards to 72°. Sunny all week with breezes around 10-20 mph.

A very good week so far..... first; our successful battle, second; the son was offered a position with the engineering firm. He is excited! Plus, the offer was almost double the salary he was anticipating!

It is said that things always come in "3's".... the BIL has another PET scan tomorrow... we are hoping that will be the third 'good thing'. He is out of the skilled nursing facility and is now in an independent / assisted living facility.

I'm off to PT in about a half hour. More nerve therapy. It does seem to be working a little bit. Another 6 sessions are approved. They may step up their game to acupuncture, depending on the nerve status.

Then a stop at TSC for a couple items. I'll cruise around the store to see what interesting things are there that I didn't know I needed. It's almost Halloween, so all the Christmas stuff should be out. They can't let Walmart have all the fun!
