Well if I type fast it still may be morning when I post this ;
So morning all,

Nice mid morning distraction today from the numerous deer on the lawn, had several turkey poults show up.
Didn't get a real good picture using my phone but here goes;

laying down they blend in real well,

Just happened to catch these while standing at the kitchen window, earlier in the morning had a flock of a dozen adults wondering around up around the deck.

86F and partly cloudy @ 11:30, calling for a high of 87F for the day. DP 68F, HU 56%, "feels like" temp is 94F.

42% chance of precip this afternoon.

Got meds doled out first thing yesterday.

Then headed outside and refilled the hopper feeder.

Then realized that the front lawn needed cut again so I spent the late afternoon in the heat doing that. Wasn't too terribly bad other than at the beginning when there was more sun than clouds. Once it clouded up it was tolerable.

Weather guessers were saying 70% of thunderstorms ... nothing really materialized around here, other than a few drops on the windshield as we were headed over to the relatives.

Had a thoroughly enjoyable time over there, sitting in the evening shade on their front porch which is on the east side of their house conversing with the fan blowing while enjoying an adult beverage.

Big spread, grilled burgers and the rest of the food was very good.

Everyone else played corn hole for a while ... I was content to just sit on the porch, listen to all the birds chirping and watch them having a good time.

Have not seen anymore groundhogs down here around the house since that last encounter. Hopefully the remaining one has moved on but somehow I doubt it.

Will probably head out here in a bit and and do some watering in the garden and see how that goes.

If there is cloud cover or I can find some shade may try and get a few other things done but we'll see how it goes ... :rolleyes:

Hope everyone is having a decent Sunday ... (y)

70°F and .19 inches rain.

Held out until afternoon and able to mow a couple hours. Maybe today will be better. Have about half of my main, interior section left.

Still mind boggled over yesterday. We need a new direction.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Grass is not getting cut today, nor is the wood getting turned. Temperature is in the 80s outside and 75 in here. I have the fans on in both the kitchen and my man cave. The kitchen one sucks up from the basement and the one in the man cave sucks the cooler air from the kitchen into the cave. When it gets really hot (90s) then I will turn on the one in the front room on suck. IF it gets to 100s (which it does occasionally) then the furnace fan goes on and blows colder air from the basement upstairs.
I don't need a hydro sucking A/C in the house.

Thank you Scott, we hope for the best

D came back for one day and flew out this morning to San Diego. Checking weather in San Diego for the week it is 60's at night and 70's during day. Hope she can find time during the week to enjoy that. I used to fly into San Diego a lot when I had a project south of the border. Always wanted to spend more time there
Prayers for your daughter Frits.

Another good worship this morning. Good lunch, got the 2 large slice pizza special with a salad, brought one slice home. Big slices of pizza.
clipped up a tomato in garden that wife wanted tied up, and threw out the rest of last years potatoes that were getting very soft in the bottom of a bucket.

Frits, all of us send prayers for your daughter and recovering health
use the old "twenty good looking guys want you to feel better" line,
always seems to work. ;)
Thank you for the prayers Drew,
She was addicted as a new born from her birth mother and this has been a life long struggle for her. One leg was amputated a couple of years ago and the other is now at risk. She got a stent but needs a valve replaced in the heart.
