Maybe that’s the problem, gauge goes to empty when it shouldn’t , tractor shuts down thinking it’s out of fuel.

Yea, I’ve wondered about that.
And yet the tractor will start back up. With lead shorted out, what is causing the change of state? ODBII doesn’t show a new error.

I would not be surprised if a new plug cured it. Hondas are very sensitive to spark plug issues.

Disappointing rain day.... with the hype that the forecasters were pushing, flood watches, heavy rain, etc... well didn't even get enough to register in the gauge! Supposed to clear by tonight, so not to hopeful for moisture.

More chances for rain coming Sunday....

Lost power again for the third time this week. Pulled the generator out for an hour and a half. I hope this isn't a trend....We haven't lost power this many times in 10 years! Two of the three were equipment failures.

A cool 61F and clear @ 23:30, heading down to around 55F for the low overnight. High temp today was 79.2F.

Beautiful day, very pleasant out there.

Started off by digging out 2 small live traps and firing up the compressor and then blowing the dust and cobwebs off those.

There's a feral cat hanging around who decided to give birth and stow her 2 kittens in the pump house ...

Woman just started feeding them and we'll trap them, get them spayed/neutered, and then put them up for adoption.

Also blew out the hopper feeder and then turned it over to The Woman for further detailing.

Once She has that done I'll put a coat of Australian Timber Oil on it to preserve it and get it put back together and get it put up.

After that I dug up some plexiglass in the basement and took it up and scribed out the unbroken side and took that over and cut it on the radial arm saw in the barn.

After that I ran headed up to the shop and welded up the new hitch for the Cub.

Needed some longer carriage bolt so I ran down to the corner hardware and picked those up.

When I got back I installed the new and the old hitches on the Cub.

Welded up that broken hoop while I was at it and brought it down to the garden.

Figured I would give the new hitch a test run with the core aerator so I hooked it up and quickly found that the front was still way too dry even with all the rain yesterday. Ground drank it right up.

So aerating got postponed until Sunday after the next rain event.

After that I counted out some beans and got those soaking for tomorrow.

Then headed back around to the garden where The Woman was preparing to plant the 3 "Straight 8" cucumbers that had come up.

She turned that over to me and went to spraying peppermint juice on the plants since it rained yesterday.

Got those planted on both sides of the arched trellises and then weeded and mulched the planting beds there with straw.

Once that was done I started working on repositioning the soaker hose on the Sunny Boy tomatoes, doing a little pruning on the plants as I went while She worked on stringing jingle bells on the fencing. Ended up getting another coupe feet's worth of coverage on the hose.

She then ran out to the Chinese place for take out and I worked on more planting.

Got the 4 Straight Yellow and the 2 Zucchini's that had come up planted, watered in, and caged along the back of the frog pond.

Collected the SD card from the game cam and called it a day.

No evidence of critters in the garden on the game cam footage ...

All in all a decent day.

May go out to the garage here in a bit and work on the new plexiglass panel which has to have a little routing done on it before it's ready to go so the seed can pass underneath it.

Good evening all. 75ºF for start, .1 inch in gauge, partly cloudy, light breeze. Light wind, sky became mostly clear, and high temp was 94ºF, HI 106ºF. Cooler today, .02 inch rain in 10 day. Made coffee to start day, putter then bike ride was faster due to earlier in day. Did not get bikes to shop, Peugeot needs new chain, Need to figure out what was issue with front wheel on Volagi. Short nap did get form ready for stepdaughter, picked up her dog at daycare, dog scratched arms deep enough to draw blood . Made it to health screening BS 120, and BP 120/75. Dinner with group, had trouble getting started posting

Hot coffee taste very good this morning. 52° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 76° with cloudy skies. Grocery shopping went good. Got home and put grocery's away. Friends showed up for a unexpected visit. Enjoyed the visit and never got to mowing grass. On the list for today.
Female duck has not been showing up at garden pond lately.
