40F clear sky.
Darn busy day at work. 😳
Walk down the driveway to get the mail and I notice something just inside the woods  it was some high school sport jacket and sleeve torn also bite marks...I thinking Boo πŸ™„...took jacket walk down the road hung it up on Yield sign.

Plans for tonight nothing.

Enjoy your evening all.

Good (Friday) morning. Overnight Low of 8.8C and it's presently 18.2C, mostly cloudy with a bit of a breeze.

Yesterday turned out to be a marathon 'pick up sticks' arvo in preparation for the first mowing of the season. I do love having all of these mature trees around the property & driveway, but sticks and downed branches are the price you pay, eh?

Noticed a couple of wee 'corrections/maintenance' to accomplish before the mowing happens this arvo.

That's about it, take care all.

Good evening! Low this morning was 30Β°. Warmed up nicely, hitting 62Β°. Starting to drop a little as the sun gets low. The 5 day forecast shows lows right around 32Β°, mid 60's for highs. I'll take this weather......

Unfortunately, no rain in the forecast. Didn't get any precip from the last frontal system either..... We are getting way below the average again.....

Buppies good luck with the surgeries. Hopefully you can finally get a break.... prayers sent, fingers crossed.

Wng, sounds like good progress! Those sinks are going to be amazing!

Kilroy, the Harry has returned! Hope he can remember his training long term.....

David, nice tool holder. Now you can't use any excuses.....
"I can't do that project today because I can't find the drill"
---- wonder how that would work out......

Don, scar looks great! Sounds like you are progressing nicely in PT. Limbo next week?

Progress on the addition: started mudding the drywall. Got about halfway through today, will finish the first coat / tape tomorrow. Then second coat.

Sometime next week I need to go up to Santa Fe to a sawmill there. Need to pick up some rough sawn pine that will get milled into trim. That's when I really get to have fun....

Hope everyone has a peaceful evening!

A couple drywall pics:

did you make the round slot pieces?

They are 3 and 4 inch pvc I had. Most of the 3 in repurposed. Cut them into 51/2 in lengths, 1 1 3/4 (2 maybe better) slots. Was interesting figuring out how to do so in a replicative manner.

thanks, they look longer than that in the first pic you posted. I've got left over PVC. I'm guessing hole saw then jig saw to cut the slots.
I've seen youtube video of someone using PVC to make them.

29Β° started pellet stove. Didn’t take Tiger long to find the heat. He jumped on it a couple nights ago, and looked at us asking β€œhow come it’s not warm”? πŸ˜‚

I've seen youtube video of someone using PVC to make them.

I’ve seen YT suggest jigsaw, but I used my mitre saw. Made a jig to mark and drill the hole saw and the mounting holes on other side using drill press. Then drew a line from each side of hole then cut on mitre saw. Sanded edges with small drum sander in zip tool.

Good friday morning !

Yesterday test were good. Italians rater fast found a good way, how to deal with customer's issues. Those doors are full with insulation, so skins are flexing a lot.

After sanding we are marking doors with chalk, the same used in schools. If marks are uniform - also after painting doors will look great

Slept near Venice, Marco Polo. Wake up at 0500. First leg at 0645 to Vienna

Now sitting there, drinking breakfast 😁

Just wondering how good those Austrians are at marketing. They have convinced whole world that Adolf were German, but Mozart - Austrian :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Next flight in 10 minutes.

Have a nice day you all

Drinking first cup of coffee. 39Β° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 56Β° with cloudy skies. Grocery shopping went good. Then helped neighbor winterize pressure washers and hoses. Got their large leaf blower running. Other neighbor came over and cleaned up my leaves that have fallen so far this fall. Today hope to get LED taillights mounted on Mule. Also have a GPS speedometer for mule. Not sure I need it. But was such a good deal on Amazon. Had to buy it.

good morning all
30 going up into 50's today in sunshine

will be a busy morning, first a trip downtown to get a box of donuts for service station staff, then home
to play musical cars and get the rv out, have appt at 9:30 to get that pcv valve and hose installed in Lambertville NJ, not far away.
Have to think about how I get there, only one of three bridges will allow the rv over, way too narrow, plus 5 ton limit.
this is the place I've been buying gas at since 1966.

Imagine going into a gas station where the attendant pumps your gas, says
hi and your first name, cleans your windshield and says thank you every time. I just love it.... of course NJ is pretty unique in not allowing us
to pump our own gas.

I wonder if it really is a safety issue? Are there less fires, accidents and injuries at NJ stations than in other states?
kinda wonder why they keep this rule.

when I get home, I turn on the rv fridge and start the loading process. Tuesday will come quickly.

Ron, won't your phone tell you how fast you are going? (?) I can just see you howling down that dirt road
trying to get an extra mph out of the ATV...not. Any gauge is a good gauge...
