My public high school experience was a bit different. I had only academic classes through my sophomore year.
But by that time I had completed 12th grade. So my last two years were metal shop, wood shop, graphic arts and electronics, much to the chagrin of my guidance counselor. But they had no college credit courses, and wouldn’t let me graduate early, so they didn’t have a lot of choice as I had no interest in addition high school academic courses. Fortunately my parents supported my position.

In the end it worked out great for me, I actually got a good public school education, even if it wasn’t the way that the system was meant to work.
As a side benefit, being one of the few in the shop classes that actually wanted to learn, I was generally allowed to free range, and do things like make parts for my motorcycle, or fix things for the custodians.

Ron, your Mom were from the same school.
I remember one time my Mom telling another the only skill we boys lacked was actually birthing a baby. Of course I had started babysitting my siblings when I was about 6. Also learned you never tell your spouse you can do something better than her unless you really want that job.

I got er done. The way the dark clouds came up, once I almost stopped, but no rain yet. Got everything I normally mow. 2.5 hrs on the meter. it takes much longer with the tractor and 6 ft RFM. Sunshine right now.

Good for you. Had a nice breeze here today. Would have been perfect to cut. But no ZTR. Dealer came and got it this AM. Grass will be challenging once I get it back.

Wife has got another plumber lined up for an estimate tomorrow.

People who installed new septic said no issues with hookup. Just need permit. LOL. That process about killed us on the install a while back.
