Good Morning
72 with a high of 82 and a chance of rain and thunderstorms later. It s sunny and clear now, smoke is not a factor so far.

Yesterday was a true lazy day, cleaned up a little in the shop, tinkered with some RC stuff, went to HD with the wife to get some boxes for her to ship alpaca fleece, ventured over to the local RC club field and dodged showers. Had some significant thunderstorms roll through, lost power several times, but only for 15 minutes or less. Still good exercise for the generator.
Not much planned for today, I have to get a brisket trimmed and rubbed to go in the smoker this afternoon for consumption tomorrow. Might take the little plane for a ride and enjoy the smoke free visibility.
No repair or fabrication projects waiting for me, but the day is young.

Good morning. Lake was like glass this morning. 66°F now, going up to 91.3 with the humidex this afternoon. Will have just a bit of rain, so another greet Canada Day weekend day.

Had in-laws over for the weekend, and they really enjoy them selves because they live in a condo in the city. Apparently they’re thinking of selling and buying a house. They live in Barrie, Ontario, which is about an hour north of Toronto, so houses are a lot cheaper.

Wife and daughter are heading back to town today, and the wife will be back again Friday. Give me a chance to get some work done!

Now that the plumbing rough-in is done for the basement, bathroom and kitchen, it’s full steam ahead! Still waiting for the electrician to come back and put in the pot lights and finish up all the connections for the plugs and switches. Then the floor goes down, which will use a great product, called DryBarrier, and then vinyl planks on top. Should look very nice.

Have a great day, everyone!

How was the sore arm after the first day or so? Did the pain or other symptoms linger? I need to get mine.
Thanks for sharing.
I felt like I had been tossed around in a clothes dryer, for most of the next day. The arm is still tender at the spot (only if I poke at it) 5 days later. I think I'd still advise a "yes" for the shot. Second one comes two months later (hopefully with not as bad a reaction).

Morning all, 79 going up to 87 and sunny
Saw the doe and it is triplets, but only ever seem to get two of them in a picture.
OF course their was a phone update yesterday that supposedly fixes some of the issues I had taking the fireworks pics.
May get to test that out tomorrow as neighbor invited us over to their place and they usually put on a good show.
Wonder what they do with their rescue mini-ponies to keep them calm during the fireworks?

Kid had work yesterday during the day, but town so crowded decided to come back here and relax by the pool.

Wife to her dr. I take son to his dr in a bit, and then he is doing another concert in Doylestown and he is working tomorrow and will miss the fireworks.

Drew- we will need to put those bumper mats on the back of your RV
Brothers town looks nice, have fun on the boat.

Jay - HB pictures came out nice.

Bought a lime tree yesterday, should be interesting to care for it outside and then inside for winter.

Lots of lightening last night, and a small amount of rain.

Off to Dr. , looks like most of day off work will be as a chauffeur.

Be well

75° and overcast.
Was up around 6am, then went back to sleep until wife woke me at almost 11. I slept to well.
Thought I heard rain on roof earlier, but gauge says 0.

Need to work on the leaking Samsung fridge. Lots of YouTube videos, one of 3 things. Will start with easiest, check the drain line.
Every day now it drips lots of water in bottom drawer, and creates ice on top of the freezer part under the bottom drawer.

82 outside this AM Hit and Miss t-storms moving through possibly.

Been extremely dry here.

Wife doing ok, daughter not so well. Seems to have taken a turn for the worse these past few weeks. Heading back up to NY, next week.

Milk House mostly done. Just need to cut concrete for plumbing. And hire a plumber for tie in to sewage and water.

Hope all are well.

Good afternoon, already 83 and looked like rain but none came

Went up to the shop to gather the impact sockets and accessories to see what I have. Looks like many duplicates and not many gaps. Good to get it all together in one place.

Going to Po to mail a package.

Will continue to stack wood if weather permits

75F and cloudy @ 12:30, ground/driveway seems to drying out a little. Still humid though - DP is 66F. AQI 39. Headed up to around 77F for the high. Supposed to stay generally cloudy with a chance of a stray shower or thunderstorm.

Power went off a little after 02:00, about an hour and a half after I went to bed. UPS screaming multiple times woke me up. Took until almost 04:00 for them to restore it. Looking at the location on the reported outage map, it appeared to have occurred at the substation down on Main Street by the reservoir.

No rain reported since midnight, but the nearby personal weather station that I'm currently using says rainfall total for yesterday reached 0.57". Radar shows spotty showers around The Buckeye.

Saw groundhog out walking around the pool a little bit ago.

Plants in garden still appear to be undisturbed, monofilament fence still intact.

Need to unload order from car and get that stuff stowed away.

Otherwise housecleaning likely on agenda.

Hope everyone is having a decent day ... (y)

trying to post pics but internet stops and starts
had a wonderful several hour boat ride today and I of course drove part.
Disappointed gps chartplotter didnt work, nice Garmin. Brother said he never used it....sigh. I asked him to turn on nice Standard Horizon gps radio with emergency alert. Oh never turned it on. Did you turn on the depth finder. No, how do you do that.
so with no chartplotter, I can't go out by myself. Lots of islands here and passageways, you need a plotter.
well, at least I got out on the water on a gorgeous day.

going out to dinner tonight at some local gin joint and then will do my best to stay up to watch the fireworks. It stays lighter later this far North and they don't start the fireworks until at least 9:30. Just going to put a chair out on open lawn and face the town, I'm sure they shoot up high enough to see.

boy do I need a nap.
just washed whole rv. Had to be super careful due to being so close to the giant fifth wheel next to me.

pictures aren't loading. oh well, maybe until I find a place with better internet or when I get home.
amazing number of nice homes on the water and many on islands where you can only get there by boat.
