Good Morning!!!! 72F here in Lompoc's Mission Hills subdivision.
Partly cloudy. High 73F. Winds NW at 10 to 15 mph.
Uneventful trip down south yesterday, and put the odometer over 1000 miles so it was OK to use the cruise control. Spring on accelerator pedal is pretty weak so it takes some effort to keep from mashing it down. That gets pretty old after seven hours of freeway.
I stopped on the way in for groceries, good thing because the cupboard was bare. New York strip, corn on the cob, and baked yam were most appreciated. The least I could do for a place to sleep...
Got a start on reroofing the garden shed this morning. First step was to get the vines off of it, then demolish what was left to make way for the new roof. That only took a few hours, now to decide how to make the new roof. Probably have enough materials to get the job three times over, so the bigger problem might be how to get rid of the excess. Maybe make a porch cover, too?
Hope you're enjoying the long weekend if you've got it!
