Joel- Thanks for sharing your “quality” moments with your family; too bad about the fireworks.

PopG- I see a lot of “good eats” on your table.

RNG- I am happy to read that you discovered that leak before you took off. I wish you safe travels and good times while you are away.

Ken- Thanks for sharing your fireworks. They really are not easy to capture well. Nice job.

David I am happy to read that you and Sophie had a good time with your friends.

rswyan- Thanks for sharing your and your Wife’s garden and grounds pictures. You have a pretty spread.

Drew- I am sorry to read about side marker lens. Those a really nice looking cherries.

A drab and dreary day so and I expect this weather to continue with periods of fog, mist, drizzle, rain showers, and an occasional torrential downpour. The morning low was 59ºF and the current 66ºF is today's high temperature so far. Dew point 66ºF. Not the best day for outdoor activities, but I did manage to capture these 2 Ruby Throated Hummingbirds this morning:

David- Thanks. Today's dank and dreary weather did not support outdoor activities. So instead I stayed indoors and started figuring out how to capture hummingbird feather texture:

rs, great pics. Your lawn looks great. Good usage of Bud lite to kill snails.

Since my Dad was hit hard (for a month) with Shingles, I've been interested in getting the vaccine. While I was still working, my health insurance was not covering it, and at $300, I put it off - three years ago. Now that I'm retired, on Medicare and with a Medicare Advantage plan, they sent me emails and my Dr suggested it. It's a two part process, second one is given after two months.

I got the first jab yesterday morning. Free - zero $, nadda. The side effects really didn't hit me until later in the day. Drove around shopping, and went to the granddaughter's last softball game. I've got a very sore arm at the injection area, generally a "beat-up" feeling. Not terrible, but definitely hit me pretty hard. Storms overnight, so the scaredy-pup dog had me up from 2am til 5:30 with his pacing and panting. Finally settled down and we both slept in until 9am. I'm still feeling beat-up, but it's a little better. Looks like I won't get much done today, either.

Better than getting the virus, I'm hoping...
How was the sore arm after the first day or so? Did the pain or other symptoms linger? I need to get mine.
Thanks for sharing.

Got Drew parked in the shade. View attachment 808653
While scrolling down, I glanced at Drew's rv and for a split second, thought it read "Tom Cruise" hahaha. Nice photos Ron. You look great in the pics.
Glad y'all spent some time together.

I get behind and have to spend a lot of time to try and catch up.
Congrats LS on new grand baby.
Jay, glad for Peg.

Buppies, prayers to get that infection OUT!!!

Not sure where I left off on the Traverse A/C work. It is still sitting, awaiting a set of new radiator fans, and me to have some energy in this heat. I will have to remove the whole plastic front clip, the bumper and it's mounts, to get to the radiator fans to exchange.

Popgadget, I hope you find your bag of tools.

I'm cooling down now after working on my daughter's impala a/c. I had a whole round and round of events, on that one. Turns out, the high side service port has a little rubber ball in it (on top of the shrader valve), and it was not giving me correct readings (low). I was prepared to put another compressor and drier on it, then finally realized what was going on. I did not replace the new parts, but am still not happy with the overall cooling of it. It keeps you comfortable, but the coldest reading I get at the vents is about 53F, closer to 60F at a stoplight. Pressures look good. I had put this system in about 1 year ago with a new drier and orifice tube.

Now my K46 tranny in the 2005 LT180 Deere rider has finally gone kapoot. Need to tear that apart, clean up the faces, install a drain plug, and whatever else it needs.

My daughter got home safely from a vacation in Florida with her boyfriend's family. Best news, is they still like each other.

We get off at noon tomorrow on July 3rd, then off on the 4th. Dental appt at 7:30 AM sharp on Wednesday morning to repair a cracked molar.

I found out last week, that my boss has gotten approval to find me a helper. We know the best candidate, we just need some prayer to see if he can make the numbers work.

Mostly, somedays I feel just like your inner tube, "patched but still holding air". Thank you for your prayers.

m7040, I checked Surplus, but did not see your pumps. But I did not look long, so you might double check.

Joel, have fun with your family.

Prayers for our team, our country, Ukraine, and for Putin to get ahold of himself.
