The product is called alumiweld: Aluminum repair kits, repair aluminum by welding with a Propane Torch - AlumiweldI have seriously considered doing such, I'm concerned that the heat to build up the aluminum would unsolder the tubes next to the repair.
How was the sore arm after the first day or so? Did the pain or other symptoms linger? I need to get mine.Since my Dad was hit hard (for a month) with Shingles, I've been interested in getting the vaccine. While I was still working, my health insurance was not covering it, and at $300, I put it off - three years ago. Now that I'm retired, on Medicare and with a Medicare Advantage plan, they sent me emails and my Dr suggested it. It's a two part process, second one is given after two months.
I got the first jab yesterday morning. Free - zero $, nadda. The side effects really didn't hit me until later in the day. Drove around shopping, and went to the granddaughter's last softball game. I've got a very sore arm at the injection area, generally a "beat-up" feeling. Not terrible, but definitely hit me pretty hard. Storms overnight, so the scaredy-pup dog had me up from 2am til 5:30 with his pacing and panting. Finally settled down and we both slept in until 9am. I'm still feeling beat-up, but it's a little better. Looks like I won't get much done today, either.
Better than getting the virus, I'm hoping...
