Drew- I am happy to read about your quick set and hook ups. That's beautiful country up that way. I hope that you continue to have similar experiences along your way.

I really do not like mowing in wet grass/vegetation, but today it was so ratty looking (and bird hiding) that I got some seat time on the rider sliding around. I stopped when it started to rain again. String-trimming along the driveway, propane tank, and down by the road tomorrow should be "fun."

went out for a walk, got some better pics of my neighbors.
Everyone has a flag out of some sort, so I felt shamed to put two little ones under my windshield wiper. The two units next to me are what is known as park models or destination trailers. you can still pull them with a diesel dually but really designed to sit there, not go on travels.
Clearly they are tolerant/lenient in what they allow campers to do, particularly since some of these folks may have been coming here for a very long time. Other folks go to the shore, these folks come here to the mountains.

some of these places are really nicely done. Could have quite a family gathering here.

nice soft breeze out fluttering all the leaves in the trees, really am in deep woods with patches of clearing to let light in. Not good if you have a satellite dish but great if you don't want to run your a/c.
plus all I hear are the birds chirping around me. Midweek, pretty quiet here.

Now to fiddle with smart tv and see how challenged its not smart operator is....now that I have free internet.
going to put my feet up on couch, listen to birds and maybe get a nap.
life is good.
maybe not dancing down the street singing Happy by Pharell Williams happy, but good enough...

70F and fog/haze/smoke @ 12:30, looks like sun is trying to peek out though, seeing some shadows on the ground. DP 56F. Supposedly heading up to a high of 76F. NW wind @ 5 - 10 mph.

Under an Air Quality Alert for fine particulates, haven't been outside yet but it didn't seem bad yesterday.

Lawn growing rapidly, it all needs mowed again.

Haircut definitely back on it though, it's to the point where it's starting to irritate me.

We have some prescription Cbd pills from the vet, but generally it is just a matter of sitting on the sofa while she burrows behind my back and shakes, poor pupper…

Kekoa doesn’t like thunder, fireworks, gunshots, basically any sudden loud noise. A melatonin and thunder shirt helps, but only if taken before the event, otherwise he is seeks comfort close to me. When a very young pup he was napping when a totally unexpected clap of thunder broke directly over the house, actually shaking it and causing us all to jump. He’s never been tolerant since. Haven’t tried the cbd, but guessing that taking early would still be an issue as he will taken nothing during an event.

Smoke is making it very hazy around here. Will stay indoors rest of the day. Not very healthy out there

The Dr visit went well and the eyes are Ok and good for another year. No signs of diabetes damage or detached retina which is good. Will se what the next A1C is since I have loosened up some on the diet. The DR is a pilot and the office is decorated with airplane themes including this small table.

Installed 8 ft tall deer fence with gates 8 ft and 16 wide and big enough to use the tractor inside without taking off the loader.

Morning all;
Had a visitor this morning about 6:30, he seemed to be just passing thru which is fine as I have no desire to have them get to settled and comfortable.

Don't mind the deer and turkeys to much but don't need these hanging around.
Waiting for my contractor to show, he was a no show yesterday not sure why not.
