successful visit with landlady
first I buttered her up with a perfect strawberry I saved for her to pick in the garden
and then we looked at formica color chips and picked one out for new kitchen counter.

my cheapo HF powerwasher does not have the right heavy duty air connections for the soap cannon.
have to figure out a solution for that that doesn't include buying a larger pw.

weeded the garden, pushed the cordless trim mower a little, good to get a little exercise.
put some clips on the tomato plants, they are growing like mad

LED fixture in rv is kaput. Need to find a replacement.
Drew, if that light has the push button in the center they can be easily found on Camping world or Amazon sites.

Tom, thanks. They don't....I found tons of those online, about ten bucks each, with some blue light built in I don't want.
so I ordered a different model from Amazon. You could get the basic ones like I wanted but in packs of four or six.
no way was I able to unscrew the cover like it insinuates you can. I pulled and the screws came out of the ceiling.
not exactly the correct method, so interested to see on new light how it comes apart.

we expect LED lights to be indestructible, no. I wonder what part of the light emitting diode breaks.

Dennis, the light is broken, flickers, doesn't work, then does work, then flickers. I had to pry it off the ceiling because it would not unscrew

Morning all, lat start at 68 going up to 80 and sunny.
Air has become tasteless and see through, much better.
Finished painting umbrella stand and will put that out this morning.
Hornet nest found, eliminated last night.
Will need to take step apart to re-cement it down.

So dry the bushes in front are starting to yellow, so watered them for a while.
Of course sprinkler is no where to be found when I need it, use it so rarely.

BEF - you seem to be having fun with the new property, looks really nice and even better seems neighbors are friendly.

Don - that is hot, we usually don't get close until August,

Phil - hope the Dr can do something for you that don't take a lot of pills

Drew - anchors will work. I have had lots of flickering LEDs before they die, capacitor starts breaking down, seems to be where they always cut corners.
Easy replacement though and getting the top off the old one now should be easier

Be well,

Bottom of hive is now on the ground. Hope I got the Queen, but I am not going looking!

I missed that part. Mine have snap on covers.

My wife says, I think all we will do there is mow.
Last night I was looking at Amish built mini cabins like the mini cabins at campgrounds. Basically a cabin mobile home. But they are expensive, more than it cost me to build my house.

GM UPDATE:

Performed a forensic excavation on the corner of my shop, extracted a Chinesium 3500 watt generator I had purchased a dozen+ years ago (still in the box unopened) as a backup to the backup to the backup generator (a friend gave me a Costco coupon and final price was about $250 including tax). Also dig out a Horrible Fright high volume 120v pump I bought several years ago when we had our business (also still NIB) and test fired them both up. This way I can water plants at woodlot easier while i work on the big gravity-fed water system, which will take some time and a lot of effort, not to mention about 600’ of 2” tubing and A Bunch of fittings.

doing my best to avoid watering it all with a watering can…

Waiting for the sun to get well on its way downward before even loading plants up in truck, we will probably work until it is getting closer to dark.

I got a sauna kit Year before last, and I am very happy with it. They also have cabin kits, which are probably a considerably easier build than a barrel sauna. (I have no affiliation with nor receive any compensation, just a satisfied customer)

Thanks - I was thinking about how much of a PITA they would be for installing and tuning, I guess if you get it right they work well, but the big steel whip will probably be my next antenna. Currently using a Firestick. No warmer.
With twins, you need to use a coax the same length as the co-phased coax you will be eventually using and mount one antenna and the extra single coax and match that antenna. Then transfer the single coax over to the second antenna and match that one. 1.1 to 1 is optimal, BUT you will get out better with a bigger mismatch but that is more stress on your finals. After both are matched, then connect the co-phased harness and you are off to the races. Yes, it is a huge PITA.

Got the grass all cut except for on top of the whitby bed, I am going to let the sparse grass on it go to seed, then cut it in the fall. The thermocell kept the mossies and blackflies at bay but it does nothing for the deer flies.
Just got out of the shower and am going to do what I did last evening.
