E-Track is tied to the 6 cross bars. Put a bolt in every other hole in E-Track thru wood floor. No wood screws. Nuts and washers on every bolt. Suspension on Mule is allowed to work. I do have a tie down to back hitch on back of Mule. Just in case I need to hit brakes hard.

My guess is that they had an airplane headed right for DC not talking to anybody and wanted to avoid a 9/11 scenario. The citation could descend into the airspace in a few minutes at most. I think that when it ran out of fuel, it’s descent rate was over 20,000 feet per minute.
I’m sure the Citation was a concern on the way up to Islip, but became serious when it turned back towards DC. It is amazing how the heading from CCC to ISP was pretty much a direct track to the heart of DC.

I slept well last night, was up at 6:30 for bathroom and fell back into a deep sleep again. Wife woke me once telling me I need to feed cats as she was leaving for PT but I went back to sleep. Finally woke up after 9 having a dream it was after 11.
Dug out the washer and dryer stored in barn, leaving in morning to take them to my oldest son. Still need to get them on the truck which will be easy with pallet forks. Hard part will be at the delivery.
Still need to get truck oil change. I’m sore from crawling under the Honda last night.

Good morning! Low was 43°, heading to 75°. Mostly cloudy now, 30% chance of a t-storm. The rest of the week is slated to be dry and sunny, temps to the mid 80's this weekend.
A few passing sprinkles kept me inside, so did a quick run to TSC for some trimmer string.... of course, as usual, they were out of stock of what I wanted. Got a substitute brand.... I'll see how it works.
Just as I got home, a few rumbles and some sprinkles started.... and finally continued. Got 1/2" in the gauge, so a total of 3/4" over 2 days. I'll take it!
Drew, have a good trip! No more band-aids!
David, good to hear of the progress. Are you rollering or spraying....or both? I have been thinking an airless sprayer might be in my future arsenal of tools.....
Jay, sorry to hear the air quality is so bad. Hope it clears out soon.
Dennis, take care moving the washer and dryer. Big, bulky, awkward, heavy contraptions......
Not sure if I picked up some bug or just my system being 'off'..... last night, just before bed, had sudden GI issues.... Then again this morning. ????
Strange at best.... no cramps, no nausea, no other symptoms.... everything just "clearing out"....
Seems that the last few times that I have been 'playing' in the dirt this happens. Wondering if there is some alien bacteria that I'm disturbing?
Today's agenda will be to make a run to Costco, time to stock up again. A good day for it, being so wet and mucky outside. Then maybe some piddling in the shop.....
The rain made everything a nice bright green. The first of the asiatic lily transplants have bloomed.
I bet the rest will "pop" in the next day or so. They are definitely late blooming this year. Our temps have been about 5-8 degrees below 'normal', so kind of expected.

63F and supposedly "Fair" @ 10:00, heading up to around 71F for the day's high. That's a little below normal ... but I'll sure take it. WU says periods of smoke and haze are possible throughout the day.
Put out 15 mealworms in the feeder first thing yesterday, also checked Nest Box No. 3 for eggs ... none yet.
After that I pulled out the Stihl HT101 pole saw, located the shoulder harness and the new primer bulb which was up in the shop in a paper bag with my new tie rod end boots for the Kubota and got the broken primer bulb replaced on the saw.
Pole saw fired right up and I was able to start trimming away the lower branches on the Japanese yew at the southeast corner of the house to expose one of the entrances to the ground hog burrow. It's under the cut branches in the picture below, goes right under the trunk:
Pole saw threw the chain and I didn't have the scrench plus it was getting warm in the sun so I just walked away for the time being.
Got a little more glyphosate spraying done on the east side of the frog pond.
Also did some watering of the irises, peonies, daffodils, and tulip bulbs with the watering wand after I connected up the short hose. Need to finish that up today.
Watered all the stuff in pots, was great with the hose and watering wand - took less than 5 minutes to hit everything ... easy peasy ...
After that I connected the long and short hoses together and started watering the east side of the garden area. Top inch or so is really dry and it would make little puffs of dust when the water drops hit the dirt. Wanted to moisten it a little before I started tilling so I wasn't making a cloud of dust.
Got leak in FF hydraulic coupler stopped by taking it off, wiping it down, and putting it back together.
Then I started hauling down screened compost to raise the bed level a little further over on the east side where it slopes to the east:
Need to spread that out with the box blade before I put the tiller on.
Also hauled down some for the new area (northwest corner) that I didn't get prepped last year:
Got that area watered as well, cracks show how dry it is.
As of the 23:00 news last night we're now at a 0.56" deficit for the year on rainfall. No rain in the last 17 days ... but good chances for some rainfall through the weekend.
All told was about 20 bucketloads, made a pretty good dent in the screened pile ... but there's still plenty left:
Cattle were having a good afternoon while I was doing that, chewing their cuds:
Ran down to Subway and got another BLT - this time with double bacon - for dinner.
Neighbor stopped down with some clothes she had picked up for The Woman as I was about to head out.
After dinner I fixed the chain on the pole saw and did a little more trimming. Gathered up the cut branches and hauled them to the back brush pile for the rabbits:
It was breezy and starting to get cool at that point and I was in shorts and a t-shirt so I called it a day and came around front and closed things up and came on inside.
Got the 5" exhaust adapter ordered off Amazon for melting holes in the weed barrier. That's due to be delivered today.
Time to get a move on ...

Off to Hilo town for Sophie’s ophthalmologist appointment. Then a few errands as well. By the time we get back will be too late for any serious painting but a good time to do a good clean up. Need to reposition scaffolding to other side of the house, be ready for tomorrow.
Finished watching Season 3 of Ted Lasso. Will be interesting to see if there is a spin-off.
