Kyle-From the internet:

"Common side effects
  • Feeling dizzy. If losartan makes you feel dizzy when you stand up, try getting up very slowly or stay sitting down until you feel better. ...
  • Headaches. Make sure you rest, and drink plenty of fluids. ...
  • Feeling sick (nausea) ...
  • Being sick (vomiting) ...
  • Diarrhoea. ...
  • Pain in your joints or muscles."
Statin medications can also mess with one's joints and muscles.

morning , 53 going up to 56 and some more rain.
Heard another huge ash fall across the shared road.
Many inches of rain last night, drainage seems to be working.
Did a few errands and the with wife to mexican place for drinks and appetizers as dinner.

BEF - sounds like your trip was a little to exciting.

I take Losartan and some other pills to manage my BP. Dosage adjustment is key to getting over the side affects. I will NOT ever take statins again, almost had permanent issues from them and took quite a while to recover.

Be well,

Good Morning!!!! 50F @ 8:00 here in Lompoc, CA. Considerable cloudiness. High 64F. Winds NW at 10 to 15 mph.
With a little luck, the wind'll blow the clouds away, but it could turn into too much of a good thing. Gale warnings go up this afternoon.

Revisited the Arnold house yesterday, trying to figure out what happened with the sleeper inside and the obscene rap music outside. Met the owner and his girlfriend in the driveway before we went in, and they seemed kinda sketchy with gang type clothing and lots of tattoos. I liked the layout of the house, compact but still enough room, seeing it in person was a big improvement over zooming in. Out back the dog cages my friend saw being assembled last time now held five of the biggest pit bulls I've ever seen. They were quiet when we got there, but as soon as the five Mexican women in the house came out and started loudly chattering, the dogs went nuts. Ugh, no way I could put up with that, and the flimsy fence wouldn't last a second if one of them wanted through it. Nice house, but I'll pass. I did get to meet the new realtor in person, and he seems to be a nice guy, and so far has cooperated and followed through well. We're going out to see another home today, but it's gonna take some work to be useable. How much remains to be seen.

You all have been busy, and I hope everyone enjoys their weekend!

The rain has cleaned the cherry blossoms off the tree, there’s a thick layer of them on the blacktop outside the garage.

53F and cloudy @ 11:30, heading up to around 63F for the day's high. Winds out of the Southwest @ 10 - 15 mph with a slight chance of a rain shower. Between yesterday and today, we've gotten 0.42" of rain thus far.

Saw a rose-breasted grosbeak out on a suet feeder this morning.

First order of business for today will be to go up to the shop and fire up the stove to warm things up.

After that, refill the hopper feeder.

Then I think I will get the measurements on the various attachments for the steel pieces for the "wings", to aid in hooking up on their SSQA's. Four implements total, eight pieces required: pallet forks, grapple, light material bucket, and stump/shrub bucket.

Once that's done probably take van back up to the shop and unload steel.

Then, given how wet it is, I think I'll hook the core aerator to the Cub and run it over the front yard (assuming I can physically get to it) ... taking occasional breaks in the shop to warm up.

While doing that I might cut a little steel on the bandsaw.

Once 18:00 rolls around the paint on the mobile base should be completely dry and it can be flipped over to paint the top side.

Beyond all that whatever else comes up.

Hope everyone is having a good Saturday ... (y)

Went to the PO and tried out new roads. Despite being close by we continue to discover new places and small roads.

66°F and no rain, but forecast.

Somewhat wait and see whether rain affects what I do outside.

Disappointing trip to TSC yesterday. Whenever I logon I can never access the local store so I have to be content with some other, usually a Ca store to browse. This used to be a locally owned place that became TSC and moved during the pandemic. Spent a fair amount of money at the old place over the years but the new place is a bit less conveniently located so has been easier to get whatever elsewhere, but this time I wanted to check out some 3pt lift pins, which sounded like they’d be what I wanted from my browsing. Not knowing the store layout, I sought assistance. I sensed trouble when he didn’t immediately understand what I wanted, but did take me to 3 different locations to no avail. I then cruised the store aisle by aisle, never seeing anything 3 pt related. In fact, I’m about 99% I didn’t really see anything tractor related.
Guess I’ll just order sight unseen online.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Good breakfast at the new (for us) place in PA, then went and checked out the country store north of there the couple a week ago told us about. Nice place, Amish or Mennonite place, baked goods, deli, plants, greenhouse, and got a free ice cream cone when we left. We bought some ham, shoofly pie, candy.
Now need to play barn Tetris again to get orange JR unloaded and in there.

Fire started in stove in shop. Was 62F when I walked in, currently 75F.

Hopper feeder refilled, also one additional suet feeder.

Steel unloaded and eight 15” pieces of steel cut which ended up being exactly half of what I picked up.

Steel cleaned off with paint thinner, need to load it in vinegar bath.

Reading manual for Unisaw.

Woman went out and did a little grocery shopping, dropped me off a Boston Crème on her way back in. Now going to make some homemade vegetable soup which I requested.

Seems a little chilly out there, hope it warms up some.

GM Update:

Dropped five trees, one did a bit of a turn on the way down and got hung up. Unlike the last time, it was much more accessible and I hooked a line to the base and then hooked it to the tractor. Got it down in about 20 minutes, and that included moving the car, moving the chainsaw milkcrate, warming up the tractor, and yanking it clear.

fourteen millable logs on the ground, 13 of them 12’+, one about 9’.

These trees would make some nice lumber. I would love to have a mill.

I just watched Concrete with the Hauses on YouTube saw his first log on the sawmill he got from Mike Morgan.

Afternoon all!
52 and cloudy. Rain appears to be going around us for some reason.
Got the railings all repaired/replaced on the main deck this week. Stairs replaced and now working on getting the lattice work rehung.
Worked in the wood shop a bit today getting some more plugs installed for the machinery.
Made another light house yesterday and tried my hand at painting. Tomorrow will be a rest day as the body is still aching.
Back at it hopefully Monday. Need to lime the lawn and put some seed down where the grubs killed it. Trying some grub killer that is supposed to last up to 3 years! 50 bucks a bag though! Only does 7000 sq. feet.
Time for feet up!
Hope everyone stays safe and healthy!

Got Orange JR (OJ?) put away. Had to move husqvarna to shed for now and move ZT to middle of barn. Used bh to try to dig redbud growing at edge of her hydrangeas, but root goes back in under and will have to get cut. So I left a big hole in her flower bed and a tree laying sideways that is too skinned up to transplant like I wanted.
Have another larger redbud that came up along the house, not sure I can get it with the hoe.
