And he's way up north in Michigan where you expect it to be cool. But way down here in north Texas where we've recently had temperatures above 80° and now 47° and forecast to go to a new record low of 54° today for the high, and we also had some very light sprinkles very early this morning, with more rain in the forecast.

We had a complete new HVAC system installed in the house this month so it's getting checked out every possible way.

40F steady rain 5mph wind upper 40's for high,this weather should pop more tree buds and green the lawn.

Outside chores done E muffin time.

Plans for today...rain all day until tomorrow so outside plans are cancel think I'll rattle some pots and pans make shepard pie my way do some puttering downstairs watch some NASCAR other than that no clue yet.

53F Now going up to 64F. I've been mowing and expect to be doing a lot more mowing. It seems like the lawns need it every 5 days. I expect it will soon need it every 3 days.

Yesterday late afternoon a storm blew through. We lost power just before dinner. The power company trucks showed up around 3:30 AM. Looks like power came back on around 5:30. I'm not sure 'cause I fell back to sleep. My wife said she heard chainsaws running. I slept right through that.

Looks like today will be a nice quiet day.

The rain began last evening at times heavily and it remains rainy and foggy. The current 44ºF is today's low temperature ATM and a total of 1.68" rain recorded so far for this event. I expect this rain to continue at times heavily for the rest of today with the temperature not moving far from the current 44ºF.

Not doing much this weekend. Staying off the property cuz family are out turkey hunting.

Gonna clean the garage and throw new blades on the lawn mower. Haven't looked at the schedule but I'm sure there will be more cup play off games to watch today.

Let my daughter get some saw time. She really wants to learn how to use a chainsaw so what the heck.

After using the saw she only fell in the creek twice
