Got mower blades sharpened. Then cut back yard in between rain drops. I got a small poly lighthouse for garden pond. Installed a daylight sensor so it will only come on at night.

I think most of us like to think we set fairly high standards, but
I always keep in mind Mickey Mantle. My childhood hero.
He only hit one out of three. So I knew early on things regularly don't go
as you want...but consistently do good work, and you can be a star.
Popgadget's my star, however with an rv with no tail light assembly, it is now parked.
With hopefully a brand new one on the way.

If I had scratched my paint or dented something, I would be next level annoyed.
Have to realize I don't have distance beepers on this thing. Likely able to retrofit.

have been looking on e-trailer web site, considering adding a steering stabilizer and small Sumo rubber springs in front.
Allegedly bolt on, no drilling, and not hard to do.
Rv has MorRyde upgrades but no doc on what you actually got. Probably better leaf spring shackles, probably a front sway bar, it has one, and maybe heavier duty shocks.
The problem with adding suspension upgrades to rv's is you immediately void the long term warranty as they specifically prohibit it, at least GulfStream does.
I'm sure the primary reason is to keep folks from overloading their rv. Which in reality is done all that time. They have to take a defensive posture assuming
their product will be abused.

But I now have a four year rv out of warranty so I can do what I want. I don't want more weight carrying capacity, am looking for better ride and handling.
I did this once before on a prior rv and had good results. Then I bought a more loaded rv and it had all this stuff standard. Now starting back over with a suspension stripper.
New tires and alignment accomplished. New flexible valve extenders nicely attached to wheel cover so no whipping around, no valve stem neck breaking again hopefully.
The brakes are fair and the handling is whale like at times.

E450 commercial chassis I guess is even less capable compared to their traditional F53 Class A gas motorhome chassis.
Unless you drive like a snail around curves, they all need some oem upgrades. The big name brands build it all in now.

you could always duct tape some empty soda cans to the bumper - you’ll hear the “crunch“ before there is a *real* crunch 🤣😂🤣😂

Morning all, 55 going to 77, sun is up

Spent hours disassembling my jeep dash to replace the heater drive gear, only to find out the door itself is stuck, which is what broke the gear. So not sure what to do as fixing this design defect means taking the heater core and half of the truck apart :-(
Reassembled dash.

Today off to Shad Fest in Lambertville then to see son's band play for Earth Day in Doylestown.

Another big Ash fell while walking the dog at 9pm, she just about ran to get back into the house..

Dandelions in salad, in stir frys , made into wine, but mostly just popping up on my mulched in areas. How come the deer only eat what I don't want them to, but leave all the weeds behind?

Be well,

Partially disassembled dash, all that metal had to come out too.

Harry has been quite comical with dandelion seed heads: he goes to sniff it, it tickles his nose, he gets angry and bites it — hilarity ensues.

this has been going on for two weeks now. Stubborn pup…

I have Owls around my place. I hear them. But have not been lucky enough to catch one while I have camera in a position to get a photo. I will keep trying.
I have a 150 - 600mm zoom mated to my full sensor frame which is mounted on a tripod, and my hand held 100 - 400mm zoom mated to my cropped sensor frame both ready to go. I take the 100 - 400mm setup with me almost everywhere nowadays.

Most of my pictures are taken out my kitchen windows. No room for tripod. My full frame Canon 6D has a 150-600 lens. Takes great pictures but is big and heavy. Recently purchased a Sony RX10 IV. Takes great pictures and is easy to carry.

Nice camera. My friend has the Sony RX10IV and really likes it for similar reasons. I have the Tamron® 150 - 600mm G2 lens. I have 2 windows and a door that I can use with my Canon 5D Mark IV mounted on the tripod and I also have a bird blind set up near an abandoned/overgrown flower garden that has all kinds of plants that attract wildlife. This blind can accommodate me, a camp chair, and the camera/lens/tripod setup almost comfortably. It has been set up outdoors since last Fall and it weathered that 30" snowstorm without damage.

Daughters boyfriend was just in an accident from someone running red light and totaled the car. He is in the hospital with head injuries.

The pine tree shoots look great as always this time of year.
