I had a bit of a bad time with the covid, but think I'm all over it now. But of course I'm not over, and don't expect to ever be over, the old age and Alzheimers. But I reckon I'm doing as well as could be expected.
I do stil look to see what's new in this forum but usually don't have anything new to report from here.

this morning I was scanning Craigslist and someone was selling two vintage Homelite Super XL12 chainsaws. I have a slightly newer version (SuperXL12 Auto, but early enough to still have the thumb oil plunger) so called and left a message - turns out it was the guy I bought the brush hog, boom, 3pt scoop and scrape blade from last fall. Picking up Monday. These are the blue ones, pre-orange. Heavy, but durable and torquey. Then he says he will throw in a third parts saw too.

Chilly evening ahead, HVAC already kicked in 30 minutes ago. Firing up the woodstove, and instead of putting the pot of water on top, I will be simmering down the almost 6quarts of walnut sap we collected the other day.

Good (Saturday) morning. Overnight Low of 9.2C and it's presently 23.4C, clear & calm. Pretty much a repeat of yesterday... beautiful.
A report by the Bureau of Many-guesses that La Nina is 'on the out' and El Nino will start effecting weather by July, which, for me, means rainfall will start to wane. Oh, well. Being on tank water, I enjoyed not having to be concerned about my tank's level... and having a green lawn. Mind you, that will be a few years down the track.
Speaking of my green lawn (and front paddock), a trim/mowing will soon be happening.
