Good morning!!!!

Ron, understood, thanks, at four years and less than half worn, think I'm ok on rears.
got the carpet runners down, air filter changed on gen (original but not too bad after 132 hours) and then
easy install of the Polk sound bar. Wireless sub fits nicely in left compartment, just have to leave door open a little when playing.
Soundbar extra thin and fit perfectly in that spot.
I don't have enough faith in myself to install the new tv, letting the dealer do that. No idea if the correct mount is behind there, but tv is same size so
hopefully no problem. Hard for me to hold something up in air for too long...

I ordered two engine air filters, got the cheaper Fram one in, waiting for better one. Original filter after 30k miles, very nasty looking.

made appt with truck repair place in Souderton to put new tires on front and do whatever alignment they can. Plus install the rear valve extensions.
No one will work on it out in driveway, so place has to have a 12 foot door, so that sure cuts down on the options.
Funny he said 2019 was too new for his alignment rig (?) but I told him this E450 probably hasn't changed in 20 years.
You say motorhome and many of these folks start shaking their heads...

Considering an aftermarket TPMS system.

grey day out, lot more showers in ten day, including more this afternoon.
hopefully no more hail, what a racket that made, was worried about slide topper on rv, flopped around a lot but ok.
These pop up storms are why I rarely would leave the rv with the awning out. Expensive when they bend and rip off.

now for a quiet day

Good morning. Quite cold this morning but not quite cold enough to put Jasper’s booties on when I took him for his morning constitutional.

I see big storms coming up from the states and headed our way. Forecast is for as much as 8 inches of snow. We’ll see.

Time to get some electrical work done in the basement. Just have to have a (late) breakfast first. Coffee was particularly good this morning. Will have to check again and see what kind it was. Wife is the one that picks up the coffee on the way up to the cottage. Usually have Starbucks French Roast for our drip coffee maker, But I think right now we’re using up the old Christmas blend.

Hydro One guys have finally arrived to trim the trees on the Hydro right of way that runs through our rental property. They missed one big oak that I was counting on using for firewood, but I caught them before they left, and hopefully they will do it today. I think there’s enough firewood there to last me a whole winter. Just can’t use it for a while until it seasons.

Have a good day everyone!👍

39° and sleeting.

Didn’t see any more cat jump attempts
Maybe put some sort of ladder or other climbing device to allow that little duffer climb up and inspect it, after which it will realize that there is no way it can get in. Then it will not attempt it again?

I'm finally caught up with most of the "have-to" fix it jobs here, but still have a 30 year old kitchen and bath to re-do in this 100 year old farm house. I think I'm going to put those off, for a year and get to the "want-to" job of building a shop inside the 54x72 pole barn. I had concrete done (1/3 or so of the barn - creating a 28 x 54 shop) last spring and got a price quote with the local lumber place. Going for 10' walls and a 20' wide area with 12' 6" walls for a two post lift. The wall studs are pretty easy to figure, but my issue is the ceiling joists. I want to span the 28 feet across, perpendicular to the roof trusses (raised - so not a flat bottom). I asked for "floor trusses" since they will only have to support steel ceiling panels and the insulation. Their truss supplier figured 24". I was hoping for 16". I'm not a structural engineer, so I will not micro-manage them on that. $8,000, with one 10x10 roll up door, not including the steel ceiling panels, insulation or electrical). I'll mull this over for a week, but am ready to pull the trigger, I think. No good pictures to post about the project, yet...

Good Morning!!!! 32F @ 7:15AM. Mixed clouds and sun this morning. Scattered thunderstorms developing this afternoon. High near 50F. Winds S at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 60%.
No sign of snow overnight, but we're under a Winter Storm Warning for tonight through most of the weekend. Thursday night and Friday should be "interesting", especially for most of the drivers who haven't a clue about snow.

Well guy is supposed to be out this morning with the new jet pump. Hope he's good working with gloves on...

Yesterday I hid inside most of the day with the furnace going. About 6PM I noticed it was getting colder inside, with the thermostat was set to 72 it was reporting 68 as the temperature. I could hear a small fan noise overhead in the attic furnace, but no main blower, so I climbed up there and read an error code off the furnace controller. It was complaining about a limit switch failure, so I figured out which component it was and found one on Amazon for a reasonable price. I'll call around town this morning and see if I can get one sooner, but cycling the power to the furnace got things going again. I left the ladder in place, just in case.

Happy Hump Day, folks!

66°F and 2.06 inches rain. Another soggy day apparently.

Restricted duty time over, ease back to normal. Plan is to attempt swapping washer and dryer. Have a plan that should minimize heavy lifting using my hydraulic table. Will start with the lighter dryer as the washer is about 400 lbs. Slow and safely, no need to hurry.

Due to a couple of factors, H&F has been moved to this afternoon this week, hosted at friends.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day
