It was neat watching him go back and forth from dryer, washer, window sill looking up and studying how to do it. He was focused.
There is a 4” gap at the back of the wood I put up, because of the dryer vent going up outside of the wall. He jumped up at side of cabinet, held on to the top of cabinet where I put the boxes, and pulled himself up thru that crack.
I congratulated him.
Need to pull all the video and edit it together.
I’m telling ya - ArmorAll. Especially since you are doing video 🤣😂🤣😂🤣

Good morning. WARM here (62 at 4:30A) headed to near 80 today and 80's 70's rest of the week. Sorry, for those up North but in another couple months we will be in sweltering heat, so this weather comes with a price.
Been looking at a "small" tow behind spreader. It is similar to the King Kutter ATV seeder / spreader (400 lbs. capacity). Unsure if I could use my old Gator to pull it. Any advice here? I am having fits with my old PTO mounted one and it is about shot. It is such a pain to order fertilizer, drive to pick up distributor, drive home, hookup, put out, drive distributor back to town! Kills the day. Even though more expensive, I have taken to occasionally buying sacked products. I can put out when I have time and when I believe it will rain.

American Legion meeting today Post #6.

Be safe, be happy. USA #1. Apologies to our Canadian, Australian friends and others where democracy rules. :)

good Monday morning all
37 going up to 59 today in clouds, then rain tonight.
have food shopping this morning, then might come home and turn the water on outside, and clean off outside of motorhome after driving it in two hours of rain.
Otherwise when it rains more tomorrow, will have black streaks, plus likely there is some leftover salt on it.
good excuse to stay outside on a warmer day

wow David what a transformation. You sure don't want to mess the new one up. Nice job.

ordered one new tire from tirerack.com, decided to use new spare tire on rear of rv and then have two new tires up front, balanced properly.
need to get air valve extensions for rear duallies, surprised they weren't on there already. Hard to find much less get at the inner tire valves.
I really wanted to switch all the tires over to Michelins, but decided against it due to having a brand new Hankook LT tire as a spare. All of the tires had between 9 and 10 32nds
at 30k miles, so looks like prior owner kept air in them. I never let tires get all the way down, concerned over hydroplaning on flooded highways, plus I think the tires start riding
harder after four or five years.

My BIL was praising his choice of Armstrong tires, a name I thought was long gone. Apparently some Middle Eastern investors bought the tire name from Pirelli years back, and have been trying
to resurrect the brand. They are headquartered in Miami, and have a big distribution center in PA, so likely why my BIL found them for his excavation equipment. I was curious, and looked up the history of the brand, and the same 200 dollar Hankook tire which is 250 for a Michelin is only 150 for an Armstrong. He says he has good luck with them.
Anyone else here run Armstrong tires?

I've always stuck with name brands, after researching on tirerack.com. My current Hankooks don't score very well, so I need to avoid snow and heavy rain, which usually I can by planning. Driving the rv in heavy rain and wind, in interstate construction with concrete barriers two feet off the side, with a semi in the left lane, well that sure isn't much fun.
A little analogous to boating, is it nice enough to go out?? At this point in my life, it's more the ride than the destination.

my best friend and his wife in DE have been sick for a week, not covid, maybe the lung crud.
how contagious is that stuff? Knock on plastic, have gone last two years without getting sick at all. But then I'm not around young kids and have had all
my shots. My sick friends have had all their shots too, lot of other kinds of nastiness out there.

46 outside this AM, should hit 60 today. Rain expected later this week. Don't need it.

More outside work today. Maybe go for a hike.

Laundry room looking good, David.

Hope all have a great start to the work week. Be safe. Norovirus is going around. Try and avoid that.

Happy holiday to all. Successful yard drain upgrade yesterday. New large drain box will accommodate the new electric trash pump which sits idle nearby in case of another epic rainstorm. Not much planned today. Maybe some tractor time raking rocks and then some hotrod time enjoying the 70º high this afternoon on the backroads.

Good Morning.
Kind of grey outside, might be the nicest day of the week.

Yesterday started with getting the little plane done and checking out the movie set after the explosion.
Before the explosion, you can see the new construction underway to be destroyed.

And after the movie magic-

They are filming a new series for Apple “Catamount” directed by Ridley Scott. This was the scene of episode 1. Episode 2 is going to be filmed nearby as well.

After that I had to do a little TIG weld repair to a stainless burner for a new grill in the restaurant, it was damaged in shipping, and fixing it was the best option. Got them up and running, then spent the rest of the day in the shop.

Not sure what today will bring, no real plan other than taking Zoe to puppy kindergarten this evening, followed by Odd Fellows meeting.

Morning all, 39 going up to 61, and cloudy.
Sons band #1 was here last night for practice.
Son is practicing with band #2 today.

And he announced he has a date today, so quick recovery.

Got some bigger garden cleanup done.
Spent a few hours with the brushcutter on clearing back yard.
The thorns are a bit dry and were hitting me like little darts.
In full helmet and face shield.
Had to switch areas due to wind, could here the ash trees cracking, so moved to an area on the other side. Trying not to get crushed anytime soon.

BEF - seems like murphys law is getting to you. Hope this all works out soon.

Sodamo - that laundry room came out great.

Our rental apartment had a leak from apartment above and the ceiling collapsed.
Will need to talk to insurance company today and see what to do.
What a mess and it's far away. Never had this big an issue before.

Can I make the people in the upstairs apartment pay for any of this.
So many questions.....Looks like it was leaking for a long time.

Cleanup of grasses in garden. This blue/green grass is spreading under the brickwork

Thick thorns and autumn olive cleanout

Now I can walk through. Could not get to this area last year as it was too wet.
Lots of tree trunks mixed in,

Sorry to hear about your rental water leak. We had a rental town house where the renters caused a lot of damage. Apparently they were on drugs and there were needles all over the place. Cost us a "few" bucks to fix up.
