Good morning!!!!

got my power cable, hooked up rv and then turned on the gas heater.
Maybe because it was 25 out last night, but after fifteen minutes, still blowing not warm air.
Hot air exhausting outside from heater; just think the cold soak will take a while to warm up.

mop 'n glowed the vinyl floors and waiting for them to dry. Then will figure out how to work the stereo (maybe turn the tv on?)
and listen to some tunes while I disinfect all the drawers, bathroom and kitchen.

nice bright blue sky day
Drew did you turn on the stove first to get air out of the lines then try the heat again?

Morning, was 27 going up to 44 and the sun has come out to play.
Rains ended before temperature drop, but lots of little ice pools.
Might get to play out side. Pole saw is assembled and good to go.

Wife on anti-biotics and we hope this helps her get better, shes been sick for a while :-(

Son was out see his friends band in a battle of the bands contest. His friend drove him home, though we were waiting for the pickup call. He only needs us for food and money now

M7040 - first thing I put on UPS was xfinity router, however router in apt is mine and that one never has trouble, xfinity one is finicky.

Be well,

Good morning to all! Low of 21°, going up to 45°. Heavy cloud cover this morning, gradual clearing. Winds 10-12 mph. No precip expected.
Tomorrow is a different story..... winds returning with another front, gusts 50-60 mph and possible showers.

The GS's birthday party went well. He definitely was excited about the couple gifts he got. -- a couple Lego vehicles, and a couple video games. Both GSs are back here today while dad is at work.

I'm pretty much over the crud, just some remaining tiredness/ lack of energy. Wifey is following along the same path of SxS.... coughing bad last night, getting all stuffed up too..... I hope she gets over it faster than I did.....
We are thinking that the GSs brought it home to us from school......

Barn door track fixed. Not sure how long it will last. The track is two pieces, the "bump" right where they join. If it happens again, the entire track might have to come down and get welded together. I should have done that to begin with.....

Todays agenda may include greasing the tractor. I like to grease it after using in 'wet' conditions. Digging out the drift the other day qualifies as 'wet'.....

Another project that has made it to the list is making some sort of 'curb' to go behind the washer. For some reason, the washer has started "walking" out of it's space during the spin cycle. Only a couple inches, but sometimes it starts banging on the dryer. I was thinking of some 3/8" quarter round screwed to the floor to capture the rear feet.

Still way too muddy for anything outside. Snow is slooowly melting, contributing to the muddy areas.

Going to make some NY strips on the grill this evening, accompanied with baked sweet potatoes, also done on the grill. No corn on the cob left.... need a substitute, not sure what.....

Everyone have a great start to the weekend!

Learning to keep on UPS and not turn it off for the modem and router. The problem with mirroring the TV seems be solved by using the Apple TV and connecting through the app. Really don't want to junk the Vizio TV. The dropped calls on the iPhone is still a mystery after several network resets so next is to change the SIM card

64°F and 5.42 inches rain, still coming down. A bit soggy.

I did get the laundry sink hooked up and functional. Had plans for a wire shelf but have decided to change. That requires a trip to HD this morning.

An off grid friend suffered a power glitch so we lent him our backup Honda EU7000 to get thru this storm. None of us expecting we’ll see sufficient sun these next few days given the forecasts.

My curry was awesome. Guys squeaked out a win, then the Gal cautioned us to not think it was the beginning of a streak.

Off to HD, but coffee first

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Buckeye, Are you going to be embaressed if the cat proves to be smarter than you? :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

If he can get around this. so far he hasn’t.

Batteries died in impact when I was putting screws in. It pays to keep scrap wood around. 26 years later I found a use for it.

38F and sunny @ 12:30, heading up to around 45F for the high today. Overnight low was 19F.

Red-bellied Woodpecker looking for some chow this morning along with a Starling, looks like the hopper feeder is now empty so will need to refill that today:

IMG_2245 copy.jpg

Got those two buckets of whole corn loaded into the deer feeder yesterday, also one suet cake put out. Deer all showed up to take advantage:

IMG_2242 copy.jpg

Counted 8 of them, including a couple that were behind a large oak in the background. Woman says I have to make a choice: I either get to have deer ... or shrubs ...

Reloaded most of the items back into the chemical storage cabinet, some other cleaning/vacuuming done as well.

Got section of Wonderboard Lite cut for the spot in the main bath where the wallboard was removed. Need to get the measurements for the placement of the holes for the valve and spout and get those drilled out today. Woman says She can't locate the small tiles that go along the tub on the outside near the floor. They may have gotten tossed out with the old wallboard ... which would be most unfortunate ... :(

Got supports for the internal funnels cut out of some 2 x 4's and stapled in place on the portable sanding table and two (of three) hardboard panels glued in place:

IMG_2243 copy.jpg

Still need to cut the 3rd triangular panel that spans the other two and get that glued in. Figured out that the dust port fitting isn't actually needed: the hose from the Shop Vac plugs into the hole ...

Had to run down to the corner and pick up 5 gallons of diesel as the torpedo heater finally ran out and wouldn't fire off. Only took it up to a little over 1/4 tank, probably will swing by there later and pick up another 5 gallons.

Amazon delivered two items yesterday: an eraser stick for sanders and a pair of feather boards for the router table.

Mounted Dust Deputy on the lid of dust collection drum. After looking at it, think I'll probably take it back apart and add a piece of 3/4 ply as a backer.

Woman fixed a couple of Braunschweiger sandwiches for lunch before She ran out to do grocery shopping. Tasty ... (y)

Cut a bunch of 15/32nds plywood scraps that I had laying around to use for drawer slides.

Think I was able to convert/figure out all the dimensions on drawer system from metric and get those listed out on paper.

Also got the layout done for the slots on the main workbench in both directions.

So getting closer to having a real plan.

Noticed that the price of 3/4" Baltic Birch shot up $70/sheet ($138 ---> $204) at that local hardwood supplier I found since I last looked ... which is a real bummer. Should have made the trip when I had the chance ... 🤬

Need to place an order @ Menards, mostly all for stuff they have on sale, some free or nearly free after rebate. Including some containers for small parts storage.

Also need to order a 100" saw guide today, looks like the Swanson will win out as it got good reviews and is reasonably priced (around $35)

Will probably head up to the shop here in a bit and fire up the double barrel and get that warmed up so I can shoot the dust collection drum with a final coat of paint.

Otherwise see what else develops.

Hope everyone has a great Saturday ... (y)
