RNG - all that I can say or think is UGGH. That's terrible. Glad that you are safe. Prayers that the repairs can happen in short order and that there are no issues / delays with insurance. All the best.

Son stopped in for about 45 minutes, prior to the drive back to Vancouver. It was really good to see him.

Other than commuter train rides to Toronto from Oshawa, that last time I was on a train was in 1965 from Montreal to Oshawa. I have no idea how much it was, the federal goobermint paid for it.

Wife said dozen eggs at Walmart now over $4.50, and gas went up $.20 today.

Drive home was ok except for the rolling parking lot on I-70 from Frederick to Hagerstown. That was the worst part of the drive.

Rt 40 is the alternative for a backup there. You could have stopped in Myersville and visited Frits.
