How are you getting along?...you've had so many irons in the fire, I'd be worn out.

Wish I had been out hiking with you, but frankly don’t think I could make those mountains.

Been a very busy last 2 weeks. Taking tomorrow off to go to VA. Train trip tomorrow. My sister is going down skyline drive today I think.

Got pellet stove going, kitten on my lap. Had some great homemade cheeseburger soup for supper

46F and cloudy @ 20:00, heading down to a low of 37F in the overnight. High here today only reached 48.7F.

Made trip down to Menards and picked up order. Opted not to pick up the 2 x 4 joists at this time since we're not really ready for them anyways and I didn't want to stand in the wind and cold picking them out. Will wait for a warmer day.

Did get the three 2 x 8 x 14 SYP for the concrete forms/attic access though. There was some old boy there who was picking up nineteen 2 x 8 x 16's who looked to be in worse shape than I was so I gave him a hand loading them in his dump truck. Said he was building a house for his son.

After I got back I ran the mower and blew leaves off the lawn, got about 2/3rds of the east side down here around the house done:

Had a couple of meatloaf sandwiches and a bowl of New England Clam Chowder for dinner.

Woman just returned from running to the grocery to pick up the two things she can't live without in the morning: Coffee ... and breakfast (Keebler Pecan Sandies) ...

Think I'll go see if She brought home and tasty treats for desert.

Good early (Friday) arvo. A mild overnight Low of 11.2C and it's presently 16.2C, calm, overcast with a misty 'rain' that started a few hours ago around 1000. The rain is supposed to 'pick up' more this evening and continue heavily 'til the end of Saturday.

An early start tomorrow morning to travel to Longford for a 1030 meeting. I'll probably get home by 1630.

Sunday should be 'busy' too; after Church the collective 'horse ladies' will be here to transfer 2 of the horses to Paddock #6, which means rearranging the trough watering system... hopefully a permanent solution.
