Kyle, I know a good DR. in College station that did one surgery on my knee. He said it would help, and it did for years, but that I would eventually need a replacement, which I did.

Good Morning
It’s 75 and we should see 90 today with high humidity will be uncomfortable outside.
Yesterday I managed to get all the propane tanks filled, I take them to a friends place, and pay by the gallon rather a flat rate per tank, saves quite a bit. He also had the teeth for the free auger as well as the pilot bit.
Ran some other errands, when I brought the trash and recycling toters up the lane I was looking at how they sit on the carryall and decided to add some blocks to get them farther from the rear wheels. They are held in place with lag bolts from the inside.
They ride much better now.
Had a good time playing music and hanging out with “the boys” last night.
No real plan for today, might take the biplane out for a ride, but no definite plan.
Wife is continuing to improve, she is getting about 5000 steps a day. I’m in charge of all lifting, bending and carrying for now though.

successful trip to Napa in Doylestown. Same Legend battery I bought ten years ago for 120 is now 180. plus plus
If I'm still around in ten years, I will be utterly delighted to put another battery in this old girl.
800/650cca ought to be plenty for a 23hp twin. 44 pounds mighty heavy for me.
my friend had installed some new wiring for a smart trickle charger to the battery.
Problem is this second hand battery he put in must have been taken out of somewhere else for a reason.
So I have to take apart some foreign wiring, will make sure everything gets shot of DeOxit before it goes back, and then battery spray on top.
looking forward to a vroommmm, and not a click click click
this is the fun stuff for me.
once new battery is in and that done, then new blades and a thorough grease job.

Kyle,I've been so busy, the days fly by at my new job. Playing "Whack-a-mole". I look at my watch just to check if I have another meeting to be at in a different room. But I love it, my knees not so much. I told my wife, I need a "mindless task weekend". I'm thinking of asking my physician at my physical next week, what it takes to get a handicap card. My knees have been in multiple incidents and my right knee is getting painful when climbing or descending stairs...I'm wondering what the parameters are for getting one is? Stock market went down DJI -1000. today...about 3-4% in one day. Glad it doesn't affect me.
We only got .08" of rain, still have large cracks in ground.

Drew, much better bits, with the split point grind, but I didn't see the key word I look for "Hss-Cobalt". They say High Molybdenum, not sure where that stands in the scheme of steels. Chicago-Latrobe. Nachi makes a good bit too. Some bits are crazy expensive and I'd only recommend if you were in a production situation making money. Look up an OSG SuS drill...as with anything, good drilling starts with a rigid setup, and the force HP necessary to push the drill to make chips while blasting coolant. At my former job just making small quantities in a prototype situation, I babied drills and took small pecks. But I didn't have to buy replacement drills every time I needed to drill a hole....and they wondered why I was so picky about who went into my toolcrib....

We got back from Maine Sunday. Long drive but well worth it. There is a reason so many people head for Maine in the summer. It is cool in the morning. It warms up afternoon and Cools off around dinner time. There are way more stars in the sky in Deer Isle than here in Lancaster. I saw 7 shooting stars looking out the bedside window. The air smells nice up there at night. The Tundra did the job but I bet we bought more then $1200 worth of gas. We took the sailboat and 4 kayaks. Definitely a great place for boats. We saw a lot of wildlife. Seals and dolphins, bald eagles and ospreys. There is a mink living on the lot and we heard coyotes at night. I saw a fin swimming around the neighbors dock. He took a boat out for a closer look. It was an ocean sunfish. Surely a strange fish. It was a great way to spend some time with our Daughters. They are never too busy to visit us in Maine. We had a great time.
This being Tractorbynet I thought that I should show you a tractor. They were trimming along the power lines. Nutty thing was they were they were cutting from the hot wire down. I thought it would make more sense to cut the branches hanging over above the power lines. Turns out they were working for the phone company. They are getting ready to run fiber optic cable to the whole island. That machine was the loudest machine I have heard. They left the branches where the fell. My wife and I spent a day dragging branches to the branch pile. Sure would be nice to have a chipper up there.

I got a 2 5/8” SDS bit that’s good for 16”. Not sure how it does on stone, but chews through concrete.
Your electrician probably has one also.

Now that we are back from Maine it is back to mowing but I bet I could have not hired a guy to mow for me. It is so dry here the grass is hardly growing. The corn at the farm looks hammered. I wonder what kind of crop the farmer will get. I did mow the farm lane. The wet spots were pretty long. One of the meadows is waist high but the other one is ankle high. There are a lot of leaves down. Garden is pretty sad. All the good tomatoes are gone and the cherry tomatoes have taken over and we never planted them. My wife has started some lettuce. I'm not sure how that will work.
It is pretty hot here. If we were smart we would figure out how to stay in Maine all summer especially if it keeps getting hotter.
It will be a while if I ever catch up here.
