Close call Fuddy. We got some gusts and .6” of rain. Nothing like the prediction.

Got the house, decks, both garages and the other two outbuildings washed and the rain hit as I was putting the tractor away. Got. The grass mowed yesterday, so I was in pretty good shape, except I’m exhausted. OMS, old man syndrome.

Thanks all. I offered my chainsaw, tractor with grapple services but between our fire/rescue+power company+VDOT there are 100s of workers.
My heart goes out to the people who lost everything and it started raining again!

70° 91% humidity.
I left work at 1 when the skies were getting very dark. Rain started just as I got in car. Drove thru the storm. Had low tire light come on, stopped and looked when getting on interstate (light rain then) and it still looked round so kept going. 2/3 from home, stopped at grocery store to get ice cream to go with tonight’s strawberries, had 25# of air, so drove on home. This tire has slow leak, I been wondering when it would be low again.

Worked from home till 6

Grilled Nathan hotdogs for supper, wife made baked beans and homemade Mac and cheese, no box stuff.

Got .43” of rain, needed it.

Wife made strawberry jam yesterday. More shortcake later tonight.
