good morning all
woke up to lightning and thunderstorm at 4am, now out of here, looks like about .7 inches of rain.
A fine amount for the garden.
Ted, you have completely transformed that area. Nice job. Now about your lawn. that's probably the worst looking lawn we have seen.

And with the big reservoirs running out of water, not like you can dream about three inches of thick green fescue out there.
I've never lived in an arid climate, here we often have more water than we can handle.
totally different landscaping, fun to watch and learn. Do you have a water recapture system on your roof?
no plans for today, need energy conservation after too many busy days in a row.
I might make a trip to State store to get a case of wine and a bottle of rum. That is my contribution to family
reunion in SC in three weeks. Two pinot grigios, two Pinot Noirs, etc.
I never drink alone so buying hard booze is a novelty for me but will look for some dark rum.
Rum for the dumb as my brother says. Both brothers drink vodka and fruit juice.
Fruity island drinks remind me of vacation.
good think I mowed the dry ditch yesterday afternoon. Back to full of water this morning.
I wonder what I can plant near there where it gets repeatedly flooded for days on end.
