Good morning!!!!

Good morning, low temp 39 and high to 43°F. Wind SW 8 mph. 40% chance of showers.

Going to the dump and town for some vittals. We missed last Thursdays' dump/town run due to me and the goat being in the 'big smoke'.

One of the main reasons I bought this place is because I really like my privacy. You cannot see the house from the road. I am a firm believer that neighbours should be heard and not seen. Skin is my preferred 'clothing'. Just don't try frying bacon without an apron. :ROFLMAO:

On a hot summer day IF I am at home you will probably catch me outside cutting the grass with a pair of sneakers on...That's it.

Got the bathroom sorted yesterday and the 10,000 bottles of hair spray, teeth brushes and floss are gone. She was the only one here that had teeth.

Have a safe day all
I have a track at the bottom of my property that I keep clear in case fire trucks need to get in. One of my neighbour ladies loves to go walking there. It had become overgrown and she saw a snake one day so she has been walking up the road past our place regularly instead. I told her I haven't been able to mow the track as it had been too wet and I would get stuck. Anyway I eventually got to mow the track the other day and I went to see her on my ZT so I could mow her lawn for her and tell her the track was clear now. She was thrilled. She told me she likes to walk naked when the close neighbours go away. Then she realized what she just said to me and gasped. She said,"ooh, I shouldn't have told you that, but I hate wearing clothes". I laughed and told her that I used to walk the same track too until I realized my neighbours liked to walk it occasionally. She felt so much better then. I said that if I see you one day I will join you for a walk. She laughed. Anyway it is starting to get too cool this time of year for that.
I have another girl neighbour who rarely wears clothes. Even if someone drops in to see her she doesn't cover up. I haven't been that lucky yet. Must be someting about the bush around here.

mudflaps installed on car, got a reasonable quote for a 2" receiver installed with wiring harness, approved that and then back home.
Cover put on lawnmower and then watered everything including the berries. Which means it will start raining in half an hour as the radar shows
creeping this way.

Need to get serious about a small trailer. I think 6x8 would be fine. 13" tires, one ton rating, need to see what is built and on a lot. Will do a little
phone work tomorrow.

onions coming up, potatoes just showing, broccoli, lettuce, radishes look fine.

I installed these soft start devices on my heat pump compressors and they made a big reduction in startup current draw. Much better than a typical hard start kit.
I installed one of those on the A/C compressor last summer, and it didn't seem to make any difference. It's still on there, so maybe is woke up and went to work? I set the oscilloscope to sample at 1 kHz yesterday and started sampling for 7 seconds during which I tripped the A/C. Couldn't find any voltage sag after plotting all 7000 data points. That was after changing the power save function, so I think I'll put that back to what it was and try again. Also want to try it with the phase converter, and unplug the stove from the UPS it's on now to see if the propane safety solenoid starts triggering again.
I’m assuming that you have a rotary phase converter, they usually have a big inrush when they start due the capacitors creating the phase shift to get them started. I replaced the rotary that I used for my Bridgeport with a VFD. Now I’ve got variable speed and a very soft start.
My mill came with a solid state Anderson phase converter that was just awful. I found a surplus 3 phase motor on Craig's List for $75, and a kit from American Rotary/Gentec for another $175. Works a treat, and I don't mind a little light flickering when the idle motor comes on, but I do mind tripping the safety solenoid on the gas stove and replacing laptop power supplies because there's something wrong with the power system I have now. They were never an issue before the install.
