In the meantime, they're either 6' long, waist high, corrugated metal 'tubs' or 9' long, waist high, timber faced rectangular structures. They're filled half way with mulch and then with top/planting soil.

Made a dump run and hiked to the river while over that direction. Almost stepped on a black snake. I'll post a couple of flower pix.

Came home and got the big ladder out to do some caulk removal and new caulking up high. Then roasted coffee until dinner time. My wife was planting flowers and garden plants most of the day.

Here is a wild azalea at the river...there must have been over a dozen butterflies but can't make out but a couple on the photo.

good morning all
53 going up to 68 today in clouds and rain tonight.

Azaleas near front door starting to bloom; they were pretty skimpy last year so I dumped a heavy load of hollytone on them and hope I'll see more color this year.
Nice to look out and see yard mowed and nicely weedeated; the helpers do a better job than I on the weedeating. They weedeat first, then I mow and they leave plenty of space for me, knowing
I don't have a ZT.

never saw a paw paw before.

off to Volvo dealer later this morning to get mudflaps put on and discuss options for trailer hitch.

need to call my oldest friend and ask him how biopsy went. Pretty sure not good; am having lunch with him tomorrow.

Good morning, low temp 39 and high to 43°F. Wind SW 8 mph. 40% chance of showers.

Going to the dump and town for some vittals. We missed last Thursdays' dump/town run due to me and the goat being in the 'big smoke'.

One of the main reasons I bought this place is because I really like my privacy. You cannot see the house from the road. I am a firm believer that neighbours should be heard and not seen. Skin is my preferred 'clothing'. Just don't try frying bacon without an apron.

On a hot summer day IF I am at home you will probably catch me outside cutting the grass with a pair of sneakers on...That's it.

Got the bathroom sorted yesterday and the 10,000 bottles of hair spray, teeth brushes and floss are gone. She was the only one here that had teeth.

46° this morning going for a high of a sunny 73°. Just seems much cooler this year than I ever expected, but I'm certainly enjoying the cooler weather while I can.
