Not exactly successful with the Scag. Cleaned and tested all the interlock safeties (5) but still no crank. Battery is 12.8 volts. Only culprits left are a relay and the electronic but I couldn’t find any way to test. The module is cracked on both ends. Ordered replacements for both, about $165 with shipping.

Ted, I have 2 of the older Ryobi electric pressure washers, 2200 psi I think. They do an adequate job and I have no complaints. That said, I’m thinking about getting a Simpson gas later this year when I get ready to paint the house. The Dewalt looks good also, but I found out they are built by Simpson and rebadged for $$.

I have a karcher pressure washer, has Honda engine. Think I got it at Costco years ago.
Have had to grease the pressure unloader valve at least once. Think that is what it’s called.

Good morning, low 41 and high to 66°F. Wind ESE 22 gusting to 28 mph. A few showers and maybe a T-storm.

House clear out in effect for today and the rest of the week or so. Depending on how Junior feels.

That is all that is planned for today.

Have a safe day all

Ted, in addition to David's experience, Ryobi seems to have a good reputation online. I also like Westinghouse, they set a high spec. Getting a name brand pump is always a bonus.
I am partial to the Northern Tools models, and definitely recommend electric. Unless you are peeling paint, cleaning off boat hulls or derusting metal, you just don't need high pressure.
All the pros use low pressure and chemicals. Like the pro car detailers, spray the stuff on first, let it sit, then wash it off gently. I've owned a Honda 390 powered 4000 psi powerwasher and
rarely used it, used my small electric one much more often. I have an 80 dollar Harbor Freight unit now on its second year.
Get one with large wheels so it rolls easily
I don't think you have to spend that much to get something pretty decent.

57-83 today, church this morning then yard work the rest of the day. We got flowers planted and weeds sprayed Friday. Now to wash the house, buildings and decks.
My pressure washer mostly collects dust, I use it for the decks but all my siding gets washed at 20lbs of pressure using my sprayer and an 8:1 water/ bleach mix. Been doing it that way since a pro friend of mine told me that’s his company does it, that was about 12 years ago.

40° right now...high in the upper 50's today.

Did some clean up and rearranging in the garage yesterday. As expected, the ZT's battery needed charging, but I didn't get to that. Maybe today...it'll take a couple hours. I think I wrote yesterday, the ZT needs full service (blades, oil (both engine and hydraulic), filters, etc.)..this is more then I'm willing to do at home (even getting rid of waste oil is a PITA).
Looking around the garage...realized I am a real pack rat. I gotta get rid of some of this stuff!! (Bet I don't though)

Wifey and stepdaughter are a bit under the weather...

I got one of those, too. I don't remember anything about greasing a valve, I'll have to look at the manual.
