Been good day...put some hours in at pt. job,took short walk check out the fox den and with in sighting distance mother fox appear and father fox setting to one side eyeing me...looking good for pups this year.

Feet kinda evening pillow time shall come early will be busy tomorrow before the soggy weather arrives.

Got to the lab and signed in, then learned my alligator test no longer required. I called hospital to confirm. Change effective yesterday, guess the registration clerk I dealt with yesterday didn’t get the word. Oh well.

Application is in for seasonal work in the Fall. On the "Who referred you" question it was nice to put the owners name.

Yesterday I was asking the owner about the Farmall and noticed on the pics the emblems were missing, she said she just ordered them. The tractor does not start so I asked her about the crank located in the clamps on the left side of the seat next to the gear shifter. She said it was not there but I could see her head spinning then she said that would be a excellent thing for the kids to do. Not to start it, but turn the crank and smoke comes out of the muffler maybe even a fake motor sound . . . Hmmm.

Popgadget, have you ever make tractor sounds speakers?

I was at the doctor's yesterday to get my yearly blood work done. On the way out there was a lady coughing up a storm. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. Even if it was just a cold I don't want it.

Well... not a good day outside wise.... Wifey called me around 10:30 this morning while I was doing the errands in town..... She said that a wall of dirt came at the house with a subsequent recording of a 59.4 mph gust.

As I went to open the front storm door, about an inch of silty dirt was between the two doors. Had to go around to the back door. There the dirt was covering the deck, so much so that a 3'x5' outdoor door mat couldn't be seen.....

I picked up the two 35 gal planters that were blown over. They are heavy... can't carry them, only tip them back up. Still have 35-45 mph winds going on.

Didn't even attempt to go out to the shop.... oh well, tomorrow's another day..

Enough complaining..... Gonna watch the second part of a PBS special on Ben Franklin. We watched the first part last night, it was very informative and interesting. I t was made by Ken Burns.

Bird, I’ve been very tired and sleepy also.

Nice to still be light out when I get home, but nothing planned. I still get a lot of pain in my feet from GBS. Took a short walk in the yard looking for snagglepuss who I saw earlier down by the road, didn’t find her.
My yard needs mowed.

That oil tank sure did expand. Hope they figure it out.

I watched the Ben Franklin special early this Am when it re-aired at 3ish... would have rather slept. Anyway, they spoke of the Penn/Quakers not wanting to start any taxation to form a militia to protect itself from the French/Indian war which turned into an international war called the 7 year war. Old Ben at first wanted to move his family back to England, until they (the English aristocrats) turncoated on him, because he was an American. He had left his wife and daughter behind in America, and took his son over to England. His son hit the right buttons, and they made him governor of New Jersey. His daughter barely knew him. He also had illegitimate kid/s. They spent a lot of time talking about his having "servants" and of course they had the interviews with today's pundits reflecting on what was considered common as pipe smoking back then. He had actually been one to notice black peoples ability to learn fast after going to a school and observing, which changed his mind about a lot of things.

Good evening all. 59ºF for the start, overcast light breeze, 1.6 inch in rain gauge. There was rotation on radar south of us and hail south of us but nothing real close. Wind got brisk in afternoon morning overcast and afternoon clear, and high temp was 90ºF, DP 44ºF. Did not realize how strong some winds were last night until I saw part of stacked wood blew over. putter in morning, bike ride and nap in afternoon. Wind penalty on ride was .84 mile.
Kyle interesting story on 421, have a few hours in 402 at nigh over the Ozarks. Hope the Peek parts went well.
RS bet fish are happier, busy day as usual.

Paul after seeing the oil tank, all I can say is WOW! Glad it did not blow. Glad yesterday was not total loss. Lot of work to get bird home.

raining since midnight, probably get about 3/4 of an inch.
Up and off early to tire shop in Doylestown to get new tires for Volvo.
Then home to get a folding table we are going to use temporarily to install a large screen (55) in Meetinghouse
Going to use HDMI connector to get what I hope is adequate resolution when hooked to pc for zoom purposes.

glad I got all my plants in ground and the solar electric fence hooked up. Little flashing light came on so I knew it was zapping away and
there were no clicking sounds usually made when electric tape gets too close to anything where it can ground out. Which is supposed to be on the
deer's nose not the garden frame. All was well. I had left the charger out for a week before to charge up the battery. It's a ten mile unit with plenty of kick.

Ted, sorry for the big mess. Most of us have no idea what a dust storm is like.

Good morning.
It’s 46 and raining. High in the low 50’s with rain ending late morning.

Yesterday was a busy one with paperwork and woodwork. Never made it even 100 foot down the lane, so Drew’s generator never got looked at either.

Today will be sawdust in the shop with a router, then gotta get cleaned up at 11 to go fly. Have to do the pick up from the trip I tried to fly on Sunday. It will be in the Jet this time.

Morning all! 41 currently with a high of 46 and rain in the forecast.
Snow is all gone here but the frost is still only a few inches down. Started on the grounds cleanup in areas not to wet. Lot's of branches this year!
I did finish moving all of my left over pavers off the ground and onto pallets.
Did some rearranging out in the garage now that the two convertibles are gone. Moved over all the tool boxes, jacks, stands and assorted blocking. I have enough room inside now to turn the tractor around without leaving the building! Lol!
Will be down in Carlisle, Pa. the end of the month to start looking for a project.
Not much going on health wise.(a good thing) Wife is going to have cataract surgery soon so we are prepping for that.

NWS says we have a northerly breeze of 30 to 44 mph and 61° going for a high of 70° today. I just made a quick trip to the donut shop and sure had to be careful opening the car door to keep the wind from destroying it.

I reckon this ought to dry the grass out enough that I'll have to mow tomorrow. Can't say I'm looking forward to that.

61 going to 63 today, this batch of rain is past got .88” out of it.
Like David, I will be going at 9:30 in the morning for cataract surgery on my left eye, right one six weeks later.
I found out Monday that I have another squamous cell cancer on my leg about four inches from the other one. Get that surgery on the 25th. It’s been snip and cut since December.
LS , sorry about the dust storm, I only saw one in my time out west and it was relatively small and short lived, but still made a huge mess.
I had an electric fuel pump in a box that I bought for some project, so yesterday I added some hoses and alligator clips and now I have a fuel transfer pump.
Phil, what car do you have in mind? I might be going myself, probably not to buy anything though.

Good morning! 60˚F, windy from the North heading to just the north 70s. We have only had a few 10ths inch of rain the last month everything is getting dry but still trying to green out with the warm weather.

Got the garage sale mirror hung, we did good, fits perfect and adds splash to the entry with the gold and walnut frame.

LS That sounds like a crazy dust storm. How often do you get them?

I see my mom's car is now listed online at a higher price than she paid for it 8 years ago.

Are cars still selling at MSRP or higher?
