Good morning, low temp 12 and high to 23°F. Wind NNE 2 mph. Periods of snow today and tonight. They say 2-4cm, which will translate into us receiving 2-4".

I've got nothing planned for today, so I might get under the hood of the Jeep and see why it is idling at 1200 rpm.
Probably the map sensor needs cleaning.

19F clear sky low 30's for high.

Outside chores done E muffin time.
Plans for today...dump run,3 stops in town for supplies,clean walks path driveway etc. 3" snow other than that see what the day brings.

Good Morning
Is 35 and supposed to get to 50 today.
Looks like a nice day.

Yesterday was a lazy day. Other some paperwork, some phone calls and a little arts and crafts with the printer and laminator, the only “real” accomplishment was to jack up the progressive mower and put a tire back on the bead and inflate it.
Got to spend some time playing with grandson as well.

Today will be spent with a batch of short trips with such scenic destinations as Islip, NY and Grove City, PA. Likely won’t get home until after 11 pm.

40 going to 68. Calm and sunny.

Had a nice dentist check up yesterday...real nice people, but struggling with hiring dental hygienists...seems many left during the lock down and schools closed, so no new graduating class...so the dentist did the teeth cleaning herself. She says folks are mistreating her front desk when they can't get an appointment for 9 months, but I've read several emails she sent out explaining the situation. I shared an idea she says may have merit. With less staff, she is "losing" up to 100 appointments a week...after having recently enlarged and remodeled her offices.

My wife went to the grocery store while waiting, and then we did a little shopping and had lunch. A nice relaxing day.

Good Morning!!!! 53F @ 4:30AM. A mix of clouds and sun. High 74F. Winds SSE at 5 to 10 mph.
Now were down to 0.35" of rain, all of it on Friday. But we'll get a big cool down over the weekend before temps bounce back into the 70s next week.

If it's a metal pully, David, you could try burning off the rubber residue, then wire brush, then repaint it.

The tractor ticked over 400 hours yesterday, so I started in on the maintenance that is due. Got the engine oil changed, only managing to spill a pint or so when the funnel fell out of the hole. Then it was on to the front axle, which took a surprising thirteen quarts of pricey hydraulic fluid, leaving me that much shy of changing what's in the transmission. So I'll wait on that until I get back from sales tax free Oregon next week with another 5 gallon pail. I think I already have all the filters I need, but I'll double check today to make sure. It's been just shy of two years since I took delivery of the tractor with 113 hours on it. Time sure flies when you're havin' fun!

Made good progress on the housekeeping, but still have more to do. Then off this morning to get a smog check on the truck. Do you folks have to get your Diesel engined vehicles smog checked, or is that just a Kalifornia thing? Then to recycler with oil and electronics, and a stop at a charity store to drop off some old clothes. Oh, and grocery shopping.

Gonna be a hump day for sure.

Morning all, 35 going to 53 , Sun seems to be coming out of hiding.
Found some more poison Ivy vines and dispatched them, a few almost 3" thick.
Machete works fine now that it is sharp.
Did some more brush clearing too, so much too do. A few small leaners need to be cleaned up, maybe later today.

Today we are in Galapagos. We did a lot of hiking from a small cruise ship.
Snorkeling withe turtles, penguins, sea lions etc.
And I got to do some drift diving with black tip and hammerhead sharks.
