Another wet day here. Each morning when I hear rain rattling on the skylight above our bed, I feel apprehensive about what I will find out in the fields, however so far all except one of the lambs are coping well. Right now out of the window I can see those that are only a week old running around and pinging into the air.

Perhaps it is best to be born when the weather is bad, then things can only get better and you grow up thinking glass is half full instead of half empty. ;)

RNG, if it was a 4-in-1 end of the coupler that was tight, could the bucket hoses have been pressurised by soaking up heat from the sun ?

Wng, glad it was only your toe caps that got scratched. Maybe next time nail clippers would be the safer option :)

66°F and no rain.

Should get my roof finished today. No other plans. Maybe, I just haven’t checked with my supervisor yet

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

That could have well been the problem, Eric. I prefer to hook the two couplers attached to the implement together, in hopes that any movement of the cylinders will just move fluid from one side of the piston to the other. That should, to my way of thinking, avoid pressurizing the couplers. But a temperature change if the couplers were coupled might still pressurize them, but in this case, I neglected to couple them when I took the 4in1 off. So likely the problem is that the moveable jaw did in fact move, and the little spurt of fluid I saw then I cracked the coupler was the result. So in the future, I'll be more diligent in coupling the lines to the implement together, and also make sure that the way I park the implement immobilizes the jaws in hopes that the pistons don't move inside the cylinders. One of these days I'll get it right...

RNG, no smog checks here, gas or diesel.

Burning it off likely last resort

Ken, that’s funny. Most every time we go to Waimea we remark how cold it is Always a few degrees cooler than home due to elevation. Probably in high 60’s yesterday when there. That parking lots sits just about the divide between rainy side and dry side. At times you can literally step in and out of the rain.
