I cracked a rib years ago when I thought I could do anything and tried to learn snow boarding.

Caught the front edge and face planted hard!!!! I actually bounced.. Drove my elbow into my rib cracking it.

Just as I would start to feel better, I would over do it and feel a "Pop!!" Followed by excruciating pain. And then have to start all over.

I had to force myself to take it easy for about 6 weeks after I felt better in order to make sure I didn't re-injure it again.

Normal everyday tasks, were fine. But I had to avoid any hard wrenching, over exertion, heavy lifting.....

I also fell on my elbow and while my whole rib cage was sore, I can point to the exact spot where my elbow made contact.

In my case, not really an investment in "green technology".
I just found messing around with gas powered equipment, especially 2-stroke which requires mixing gas and 2-stroke oil, a real PITA.

I'm OK with 4 stroke and diesel, but since I've already got EGO batteries, may as well take full advantage of them

I have no problem with battery power, got a shop full of it, love it.

41F cloudy rain arrive little after 5pm until early morn.

8 hours at pt. job,finish fueling Kubota and good greasing and walk around just 1 more thing less to do before old man winter comes to visit.

Feet up kinda night...movie share bowl ice cream cuddle the pillow little earlier tonight.

Get to hospital, jammed parking lot, got a spot all the way at the end.
thankfully this is not a huge hospital but it was still a hike.
I figured good exercise.
Get to the front door and realize I left my list of meds in the car, which is what they specifically asked for.
So back I go, thinking, well more good exercise.
I go into the appointment and said ever so proudly here is my med list for my port removal.
Oh we don't need that.
Sigh.

well, I lost an ounce of weight. All good.

feels a little strange with my beard shaved off but I'll get used to it.

The DIL called first thing in the morning and said she had a ambulance ride to home. 1.5 hours later and she got bumped and she wanted to go home NOW!
The drive down was a nice cloudy day, but the drive back up was almost all in freezing rain. Used almost a whole gallon and a half of windshield washer juice. When we got home there was 1/4" of ice on the front of the Dodge, all over headlights, grille and sides of the windshield. I can just imagine what the undercarriage looks like.
That was EXACTLY what I wanted to avoid.

I see the premier of Ontario has stopped all license renewal costs for small pickups and passenger cars and is refunding the costs from March 7th 2021. This is a good thing EXCEPT that he will probably add another tax to the fuel. I think he is vote buying.

As far as stocks go, I have had good returns on my investment with BMO on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
Invested $28,750.50 in Jan. 2016 and as of Dec. 2021 was worth $72,287.85. I don't think I am doing that bad.
I take 5 grand a year out of it. This is the bigger one of the two I have.

The local Shell station is charging $1.729/L for regular and diesel. $6.54/US gallon. I bought for $1.599/L $6.04/US gallon in Burks Falls...15 miles farther south, I was going right past there anyway to get to Huntsville.
