Good evening all. 29F for the start, light breeze, mostly clear sky. Light wind day, mostly clear sky and high temp was 64F, DP 26F. Chapel to start day, took communion to one family that missed, then made breakfast and then cleaned up kitchen. Putter mode rest of day, tried to talk myself into sharpening a chain but did not, and did get nap in. Watched the 4th quarter of KC game, what an ending!
Covid update: Cooke 5394 confirmed cases, Montague 3672 confirmed cases, Grayson, 21192 confirmed cases. Cooke 24, Montague 49, Grayson 141, new cases.
Ron hope you don't get too much snow. Hope you enjoy yesterday's visitors and visit with aunt today. Good to here you have good luck with baffles. Neighbor in STL had too many trees and they just jumps on the feeders he had.
Dennis never had problems with cats getting in the way. He was really checking on you

Coffee is done brewing. 12° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 22° with snow by mid day. 3" is forecast. Yesterday's .5" turned into over 2". Roads were a mess. Took awhile to drive the 10 miles for my to my Aunt. She is not adapting very well to Assisted Living. But it has only been a few days. Did enjoy my visit. Need to get grapple bucket off tractor and put snow blade on. Still have about 200 film photos to scan. Hope to get that done today.

Not much accomplished yesterday other than some firewood work...then I played DJ by playing a number of 1960s songs on YouTube for my wife, including the Leader of the Pack by the Shangri-Las...with Robert Goulet playing the part of the motorcycle guy on an old I've Got a Secret episode. We laughed a good while.

a chilly 45 in Delray Beach FL, 25 at home in PA.
Sky is cloudless, all the good clear Canadian air coming all the way down here, should be a
lovely sunny day, up to 65 here. Maybe this afternoon my friend and I might take the
Lady Delray, the local large tour boat and at least get out on the water this afternoon after it warms up.

Bill, you bet, that was a gator, there were two we could easily see, both were fairly small

pics of my friends home on a canal just off intracoastal. He is looking at new water fountain he just installed
homes across water are in Boca Raton, all double the size. $3-5M range. His side is $1-2M.

Good Morning.
It’s 20 and not going to make it above freezing today.

Yesterday‘s trip went the way I like them. It was surprisingly cold in Hilton Head, low 40’s, but still much warmer than here. It was snowing by the time I got home, but didn’t amount to any more than a dusting. I still might plow it, just to have bare pavement once the sun hits it rather than ice. Then I’ll likely swap the blade for a bucket and heap up the manure bin, and put some stone down in front of it.
Looking at Drew’s gator reminded me of an airboat trip through the Everglades I took.

These were not small!

Good morning! It was 2° this morning when I got up. Supposed to get to 29° today with more snow. A fair amount of cool days coming up this week. Maybe getting into the 30's once February starts.

Hopefully today's snow is light. I am feeling it today from wrestling the snow blower yesterday. Plus I need to do some maintenance to it. Nothing major but need to do some TLC.

Morning all, 23 going up to 34 and was even warmer yesterday.
My sons concert got rescheduled to yesterday so that was fun. He had his fan club there (his friends), and it was a pretty good day.
Lots happened this weekend, not all good as wife went off on me Friday night, but was mellow Saturday. confused.

Hop you are having fun in Florida Drew. My friends mom live in Boynton beach. We have relatives in Boca, too.

Good morning! 47˚F light rain, only getting to the mid 50s. Egore session this afternoon. I have continued the 5 mile stationary bike and 2 mile walk every day hopefully I can continue to flex more or at least not regress in physical therapy.

Roy as soon as your wife's foot heals she will feel young again, wish her a happy birthday from all of us.

Not a lot got done yesterday. I spent most of the day in the studio, and really don't feel like I accomplished anything. I know I was busy all day. I hate days like that.

Many of my friends in central Florida have been complaining about the cold weather they've had there this past week. One in Ft. Myers said it was down to 33° one night.
Another friend I grew up with posted on Facebook that he had the privilege of playing for Gloria Estefan and her husband at their resort in Vero Beach. That's a pretty cool gig.

I imagine your chickens weren't hating that, Kyle.

It is. I once played a Kiss song for Gene Simmons, who'd walked into a bar I was playing just as one of his songs was next on our setlist. He stayed long enough to drink a beer, then walked by the stage on his way out and gave us a thumbs up.

I played with and for several famous musicians during my time at Ampeg. It is a neat feeling. In the end, though, they're just musicians, too. They just do the same thing for bigger audiences.
