30°, low was 26 last night.
Holiday Inn Express is the expensive hotel I stay at. But I draw the line on any with Budget in their name.
I’ve been going into work later, and enjoying less traffic on the road. It also helps the return trip, although it’s now in the dark.

Heading in to work this morning...hopefully, my schedule of Mondays, Tuesday and Fridays at work (meaning on-site) will hold this time.

Drinking first cup of hot coffee. 24° with mostly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 48° with mostly sunny skies. Did not get grocery shopping done yesterday. Back on today's list. Did get fence rolled up and out of field. Then ran timmer to get all of the weeds and shrubs trying to grow in fence line cut down. After shopping I think today is going to be a conserve energy day.
Road in front of my house.

RNG, Sassy has thing about chasing four legged critters. Have not seen her catch one yet. Let the mouse loose in front of neighbors cats. At least Sassy got it treed. Mouse got away from cats and found a hole to hide in.

Mostly, Sassy is a small hunter. Just does not know what to do with catch.

Buckeye, great pictures.

David, veneer looks good. Use a good adhesive to stick it on.

Buppies, hope you are feeling better.

PJ, my wife had a Brother embroidery machine. I still have some of my pajamas that she did embroidery on while learning to use the machine.

Everyone stay safe and healthy.

Good Morning All.

good morning from Williamston NC. Quiet night, slept well
39 out now going up to 59 today, cloudy but nice, then rain coming in all day tomorrow.

heading for coffee at 6am when breakfast is open. Will be visiting an old garden club friend today, she is about 90, and taking her to country club for lunch, where she is a member.

I chickened out literally on the steak restaurant, it was really small, two employee cars there, did not look inviting at all. So I got a chicken sandwich in a drive through and called it a night.

Buppies, keep feeling better.

28 outside this AM. Heading to 54. Should be a nice day. Mowed the back yesterday. Forgot in this weather to take gloves. Man, it was a cold ride. Hopeful that grass will not need to be cut again. Front is on the to do list this weekend.

Need to go with wife and get her truck serviced today. Then shopping for the important stuff, spark plugs, beer and coffee.

Hope all have a great weekend. Be safe.

Buppies, get better, faster! Stay positive.

30 and first frost on the ground and freeze of the year. Looking for 53 and more sun than yesterday.

Ron, beautiful road...is it quiet enough to take a nice walk?

Glad you're better, Buppies.

Rip, glad you remembered to put coffee on your list.

Did a thorough cleaning of the cast iron steamer pot we keep on the woodstove...used several size wire brushes on the battery drill, and a couple of hand brushes. Then repainted it flat black with stove paint. Looks good, and already helping with the humidity.

Then my wife and I gave each other haircuts. Been almost 2 years since we started this, although she did go in to get a professional one before the wedding back in June...then complained it wasn't as good as what I had done and I had to touch it up. I think I got this good from all the hand pruning of the shrubs over the years. 😁
