Actually according to this the side effects of the first few days is an innate response and doesn’ttell muchabout disease immunity.

Your article assumes there is valid vaccine in the jab, it was given properly, it was the right dosage and storage was proper.
I guess the CDC knows that stuff happens or they would not have this page.

84, heat index 91. Sunny and a bit humid.

Mowed grass today, got a small stump that was at 5he edge of the woods hung in the deck and had to stop to sort that out. After 2.75” of rain Saturday, I’m still covered in dust. This Toro burns a lot of gas, my diesel has ruined my perspective. It’s a so called, high speed mower with a 23 hp Kohler, runs perfectly but sure do love it’s gas.
Not much else today other than cooking Fajita chicken with broccoli, cheese and noodles for dinner. Wife is going to a friend’s funeral and won’t be home until about six.
My FIL is turning out to be quite an asset fixing and doing stuff around here.
We are considering adding an L shaped edition on the front to give him some private space. Going to start getting estimates next week. Probably be about 32’ x 12’ so we can move wife’s office in there as well. We were planning to add on, just not that much. Since pop is going to pitch in, I ain’t arguing.

70°F and storms this morning, going up to 93° today. Going to be hot all week.

Got more grass mowed when I got home from work Friday evening, then finished with four hours in the pasture Saturday. I really can't let that go for two weeks, or the crab grass gets insane. We seem to be having a crab grass explosion this year.

Sunday saw us loading the kayaks and heading for water. This time, The Wife decided she wanted to get on a river somewhere in Missouri, as they seem to have some of the best rivers to paddle in the Midwest. We chose a section of the Big River near DeSoto MO, found a couple of boat ramps to put in and take out, and headed there Sunday morning. We arranged our own "shuttle" service by taking both cars. We parked mine at the take-out at Brown's Ford Park, then drove hers to the put-in at Mammoth Access. The river wasn't very high, but there was a good current. Lots of nice water to paddle, and more than a few riffles areas, some over debris, but mostly going around the bends. One of them has the distinction of ending my 54 years and 358 days streak of having never dumped a boat. The strong current was pushing me towards a large tree leaning out over the water, and instead of paddling through I decided to try to brake my speed. Bad move, as it pushed me right into it, and flipped me right off into the water. I'm not gonna lie; I used a fair amount of blue language, upset mostly that my luck had ended. Fortunately, all the tethers and waterproof stuff did what they are supposed to do, and when I righted the kayak everything was still attached except me and my insulated water bottle, which we caught up with hung up in some debris a little way downstream. We made it a little further down the river before it started clouding up and getting dark. The weather app on the iThingie had promised us no rain until after midnight. It lied, and the sound of approaching thunder and eventual flashes of lightning ended any debate about it. We pulled off at a small pebble beach, and stood under a sycamore tree for about an hour of what started as a severe thunder storm and eventually became just heavy rain. We were in a no signal area, so we had no idea how big it was or how long it would last. When the thunder seemed to be moving on and we saw no more lightning, we decided to start paddling again. Oddly, the map apps on our phones were working, so we could see that we were less than an hour of paddling from the take-out ramp. So, we emptied the rain water from our kayaks and paddled on in the rain, sometimes heavy, until we finally reached the destination park. There was a car sitting on the bridge over the river right next to the ramp, in which we imagined its inhabitants were watching us and wondering what on earth we were doing out there paddling in such weather.

Sore today. Not sure if it's because of slamming into a tree, or the fact that we chose a route that was 10.9 miles of sometimes challenging, unknown-to-us river ... or likely a combination of the two. My one regret is that I didn't take a few seconds to take a picture of the tree that dethroned me.

Busy day at work today, so I got a late start here.

Yeah ... not exactly my favorite activity ... but it beats sanding drywall ...

Hope that goes well for you ... (y)

Remember to post some pics.

Hmmmm, concrete vs sanding drywall, can I see behind Door #3?

Hoping something pic worthy by weekend.

84F hazy light breeze.

Had full head of steam this morning but started dripping sweat after 9pm so I laid low the rest of the day....wish the jet stream take a BIG dip.
Not much plan for the evening...setting on deck watching the sun go down and waiting for the stars enjoying twin stick lime popsickle.

Enjoy your evening all.

Got quicken working on new computer, must have been an intuit web site issue. 1 down, several to go. Video editing program will be next.

Sprayed about 1gal roundup left in sprayer, mixed and sprayed 2 more gallons, then mixed some more.

Now need to cool down from being outside, and get a slice of peach pie.

Was up till 1 am last night, will turn in earlier tonight.

PJ, looks like fun trip otherwise. I remember rafting down a river in Colorado when a storm hit us, hail, lightning, rain. We just held close to the bank to let the limbs get the worse of it. The lightning is the scary part.

73F and cloudy @ 21:00.

Got Menards order placed while I was inside cooling off, had trouble with the website taking the order (???) but it went through on the second try. Did not get email notification that it was placed or that it is ready for pickup (it's sitting there now)

Grabbed a shower while I was inside, was very refreshing ... also had a snack ... (y)

On The Woman's return she was chomping at the bit to get back outside (until she had been out there for a minute ...) so we headed out.

She got some more work done on digging the hostas out.

I worked on creek crossing, dug out and hauled down a couple more bucketloads of dirt, then took a 2 x 4 and the sledge hammer and started compacting the dirt between the pipes.

About 18:30 it started to rain so we headed in. It really didn't amount to much, just enough to settle the dust for a little bit.

After dinner she remembered she had prescription she needed to pick up so she ran out to get that, I had her swing by the bank and make a deposit while she was out.

Before she got back I went downstairs and refilled the hopper feeder and hooked the juice to the radial arm saw and got the board for the lower shelf on her planter cut to length.

Then I just sat out back for bit and enjoyed the (cooler) even air.

Hope everyone had a great day ... (y)
