As I'm sure you know I've got a lot yet to learn to post photos on here properly. Resize first I presume.:):)

speaking of heat index, my friend in Milton DE shows a 108 right now, I'm sure due to the shore humidity.
Toppop, gotta be pretty toasty where you are, drink lots of water
which reminds me I forgot to get another case this morning in supermarket, down to a few bottles.
Pretty heavy for me to lug around still.

I like the wood color Bird.

Review it for us after you use it. It may be something I can use it for FireWise if it is better than a sawzall.

Due in on 7-9, I’ll let you know.

I’ve got the Stihl version of that, I think it’s a GTA26. I would give it an A+ rating. I kept it in the tractor and then the Lazer until I got the perimeter branches whipped into shape. Outstanding battery life as well. The on;y slight negative is that the chain loop is so short it won’t fit on a sharpening machine, you have to hand file it.

plus it comes with two batteries and seems to safely protect hands behind the guard. (y)

ordered a replacement Rikon bandsaw blade from Highland Woodworking in Georgia. Not a large blade, 70.5 inches, 4 tpi skip tooth.
I didn't buy the bandsaw from them, better price from Amazon, but I don't trust Amazon to
specify the right saw blade for it. Highland sells Rikon and are very into band saw blades so
I was glad to get that ordered. Used that saw a lot making all those bird houses and feeders.
Still runs great after cutting through all that cedar.

Also ordered the correct stand for the bandsaw
since it was on sale and more than paid for all the shipping. So now the bandsaw goes on its correct
stand and my new Wen grinder goes on the universal stand now vacated. That grinder is really heavy and a bit much
for the folding plastic banquet table I have it on now. That was designed for holding completed bird houses, nothing else.
Well, things tend to accumulate for sure.

Really have to keep at oiling the exposed cast iron on shop tools in that unheated garage. A damp winter is not good on metal for sure.
I got most of the surface rust off but want to pick up some steel wool to finish it. But maybe that's old fashioned and there's something better? 320 grit?
320 grit with penetrating oil bath first would be better?

Nice fence.

It’s easy to post from the TBN phone app, hit paper clip, select photo, hit done.

Worked late, quick supper, and got trailer unloaded.
Wife waits till sun goes down to water garden, or most just evaporates.

Still waiting on Amazon to deliver some heat shrink and tape, so I can put new lights on my trailer and camper. Was due the 23rd. Amazon got me the other day, a $7 tube of caulk I thought was prime, well it was over $8 shipping. Don’t know how I missed that.

Will be busy next couple days. Then I’m taking some days off around the 4th

It's sure been busy around here. Friday, we got the fence replaced at the front of the house. Now this past week, my wife and I both got new cell phones. This new phone makes better photos than my old cell phone did, and since I sold my real camera some time ago, the cell phone is now the only camera I own. So today, I finally figured out how to get photos from this new cell phone into this computer. So I'll see if I can put a couple of pictures of our new fence here.

We have a couple events coming up that I’m looking forward to. First is the TSCRA Convention in Ft. Worth in July. A great trade show is also planned for the convention this year.

Next is the Texas A&M Beef Cattle Short Course in August. I’m really looking forward to the Texas Aggie Prime Rib Dinner.

Both are really good events and well worth the time and expense to attend.

Also the Texas Legislature will be convening for their First Special Session in July also.
