Mornin all, Was in Cape May for the weekend. Had nice weather until time to leave, and missed the rain all the way back home.
Some light rain and thunder last night, so sunny and nice today for a morning walk across the New Hope - Lambertville bridge. Lots of snappers sunning themselves on the bridge supports.
Saw one of the Victorian houses being raised up, pretty interesting.

RNG - tank looks good, glad it's in place and worked out.
PopG - so happy to hear the proposal went well !
L4N - safe driving
wngsprd - glad wedding went well, so much good news !
Drew - good news on report- Life is good!

Stay safe and be well, another fawn today - 2 so far this year. This one was hopping around quit a bit, no pics though.

RNG, good pic showing the distance and elevation. How many pound of pressure will you loose because of friction loss in the pipe?
All that BH digging looks like fun.
I used a chart I found on this page, Don.

2” pipe @ 60 GPM would give 6 feet per second flow rate with a 3 PSI pressure drop. Height differential between the tank and the pump house is 53 feet. So net water pressure due to gravity is about 20 PSI after losses.

I think I'm past the point where the digging feels more like work than it does fun. 🤭 ;)

Good afternoon, had a warm afternoon topping thistles and then cutting a path down the side of the far hayfield. Sat high up in a cab gives a good view of both weeds and more welcome wild flowers, including a few orchids.

Drew, great to hear you got the all clear. I was thinking about you as I came in and put my noise cancelling headphones on charge. I got them a few years ago after you had bought a pair and recommended a basic model for those of us not wanting to spend too much money. Mine are still going strong, battery capacity still good enough for several days. Did yours go off to another home while you were in hospital ?
